I travel a lot, and finding the best coffee spots is kind of my jam. I recently went on a business trip to Niagara Falls and happened upon Vincenzo's.
First of all, the staff is warm, friendly, and absolutely fantastic. The woman at the counter even drew a little flower, a thank you, and the Vincenzo's Cafe on the cardboard holder (great personal touch).
Second, Vincenzo is just such a great little old man. He cares very much for the place, and his passion for coffee shows with every cup.
Third, and what you're looking for, the coffee and food... Honduras Coffee - I order one and it was smooth, strong, and tasted like I expected it would from a gourmet Italian coffee shop.
Italian Fog - I originally had forgotten what a Fog was, and was a bit bummed when I looked it up after leaving with my order, as I'm not huge on Earl Grey tea. However, my LORD was this absolutely amazing. It was delicious and had hints of cinnamon and marschino cherries. Just fantastic.
Coconut Pound Cake(?) - not sure what the real name for it is, but you'll see it in the case. DEFINITELY order this. It was soft, moist, and had extremely great flavor. It was the perfect compliment to my coffee and fog. I'm not sure what the drizzle/frosting was made of, but the whole thing was just decadent.
TLDR: If you're looking for an amazing little coffee shop on your trip, definitely venture out to here. It will be worth the trip.
Can't wait to go back next time...
Read moreWas working close by so popped in for a quick lunch. I ordered an iced coffee and McVinnie, egg, bacon and cheese on an English muffin. I asked if I could substitute the bacon and got a slice of chicken instead with no reluctancy. After taking my seat, Vincenzo served me an espresso cup of blended ice coffee and asked me how I liked it. I agreed to what I would describe as a better and fancier version of a Timmie's Ice Cap. He then proceeded to bring me a full sized cup of the blend to go. He shook my hand and asked for my name while introducing himself, really making me feel like this a place I'd want to go back to. I bought a chocolate croissant after receiving such great service and it was definitely one of the best croissants I've had my life. Very astounded by the...
Read moreMy husband and I went to Vincenzo’s Café for the first time today with our eleven-month old baby. The café is quaint and sweet, and we were welcomed warmly. Drinks (French Vanilla and London Fog) were excellent. Our breakfasts (Traditional and McVinnie) were great as well. We spoke with several members of the family that own the café and they were all friendly, warm and kind and interacted with our little one. It was a lovely experience that we would happily return for again. Of note, the bathroom also had a full change table and comfortable change pad for us to use which was refreshing to see! It is clear that family is highly valued at this café. We...
