All downhill since recent takeover. Poor service, poor quality. My very simple tea is made correct maybe 30% of the time. They often don't even stir it. They manipulate the window timer and make you pull up when they can't serve you immediately. They fired what I would consider the best employees. The dude that served me about a week ago told me to go *#$% myself when I got frustrated that he could not understand my simple question about payment- it's interesting, the English they choose to learn, or maybe the English they pretend they don't know.. I'm unsure. Just a small example of a much greater problem. I do not recommend. Shout out to SIL, STACEY, AND BRITTANY, the only survivors of the enjoyable Tim Hortons I once knew.
Also, watch out on weekends mostly- the transports going to the gas station in the shared lot come by the dozens now... they no longer go up the street to husky where the lot can accommodate big trucks. You'll often times find 15-20 of them smooshed in the lot, with a lineup of them waiting to get in on the road... just sitting there idling for hours likely (sometimes blocking as far back as the roundabout).. meanwhile, please serve me another...
   Read moreWe went into the drive through with two cars ahead of us. The employee taking our order didn't seem to understand us, and we had to repeat our order four times for her to understand. Finally, when the right order appeared on the screen, we drove through to the line of two cars ahead up us. We proceeded to sit and wait for 32 minutes without moving. The cars behind us even left the line. Eventually we decided to leave the line and go in the store. Once inside we found there to be next to no customers there, so we were relieved as we thought we would be served quickly. Oh how we were wrong. I caught the employee's attention and explained to her that we had already ordered our drinks in the drive through and that it was taking an absurd amount of time so we came inside to pick it up and pay for it. The employee nodded implying she understood, just to give out order to a car in the drive through. The people rejected the order (since it was the wrong one) and we called the employee back over and finally got our order. Overall, it took nearly an hour to get a large chocolate milk, a large coffee and two...
   Read moreWe had a very bad experience from this tim today. We made a stop here for a coffee after our visit to Niagra. I was with my friends who had a 2 year old kid. They were visiting Niagra and are from Dubai. We bought coffee for all of us. The cashier girl, i guess her name was Parveen and was very rude to my friends when they were making the order. After the order we asked for an extra small cup for the kid to share the coffee. She was upset and told them that the cup costs 12 cents. Its not that we donât want to get anything for free. Its just how insulted they felt and had this experience in their first visit to Canada. I wish atleast she asked for the payment friendly and not be very rude. Even other people in the queue felt bad that we had this experience with a small kid. I have never in my life had an experience like this from any other tim hortons in Canada and was always positive that I will get the best customer service from my favourite coffee shop chain anywhere. I hope this Tim hortons in future atleast give a better...
