George's China Kitchen — Restaurant in North Bay

I was looking forward to trying the food at George's China Kitchen but unfortunately, I never got to. I called the restaurant to place a pick up order. When the staff member answered the phone, they only said "hi", leaving me to question if I was calling George's China Kitchen or a personal phone number. Once I clarified with the employee that I was calling the correct place, I asked if I could place a pick up order. I called at 6 pm but was told that my food would not be ready until between 7-7:30 pm. When I clarified that it was going to take an hour to an hour and a half to prepare my food, the staff member told me yes, but she would call me if it was ready before. I think it's unreasonable to expect me to wait up to an hour and a half by my phone waiting for a call to go pick up my food. Had an excellent experience with George's China Kitchen the other night. I like my food extremely hot and spicy. I stressed this to the young woman working the cash register. She took me seriously, relayed the message to the kitchen staff and repeatedly reminded them to make it very, very hot and spicy. They did not disappoint. I got exactly what I asked for.

I ordered the Soo Chew Har Kew, which was loaded with lots of fresh veggies, delicious flavour and more than generous portions. Excellent dish. My wife tried the Soo Chew Wonton and was also quite pleased with her dish. We were very happy with our experience. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the price was affordable. Ordered dinner from you tonight, it was good but not very hot. Arrived at the time that we ordered for, so I am guessing that it was ready and sitting in the kitchen for awhile. I understand that prices have gone up, but the dinner for 3 has gone up by 12 dollars, when the dinner for one has only gone up by 2 dollars. Logic would say that the dinner for 3 should have gone up by 6 dollars. My biggest "beef" though is your minimum delivery price. That went from 35 dollars to 55 dollars.
