an edit tot his review. don't go therre when MKAYLA (spelling?) is working. she's got to be the most ignorant "manager" I've ever seen. went in to get a soda, the kid at the window hands me a luke warm soda (when it's 35 degrees out, who wants a warm soda?) and I ask...no ice? he then tells me the drive through window machine no longer dispenses ice, that McDonald's isn't offering ice in drinks anymore unless you go inside and pour it yourself. kid, if you're going to lie to a customers face like that, at least make it a believable lie. so, I tell him..no, that's not true. can I get some ice please? he gives me a disgusted look, stomps off muttering to himself. so, at that point I call tot he next kid at the window and just say listen, can I get my money back, I'll go someplace else. the "manager", MKAYLA, comes to the window. I don't know HOW this girl became a manager but she shouldn't be. my belief is simple....your staff acts how you act. if you're ignorant, uncaring, have ZERO customer service skills...your staff will emulate that. and...they do. she came to the window, made a stink about giving me a refund. like I said..don't go there when she's there. worst customer service skills I've ever seen. I wouldn't eat a big mac these days. recently, I purchased a big mac from the Lakeshore Drive location in North Bay, Ontario. I bit into the sandwich, and thought it tasted very, very off. so, I took a look at the sandwich. I'd love to show a photo of what I found, but McDonald's has their group settings set that I can't post a photo. so, on the bottom of the bun, approx. 1"x2.3" is this dark brown mass. it's solid, cooked into the bun. and, to top it all off, it literally made me physically ill. so, I spoke to a McDonald's rep, who claimed over and over this couldn't have happened, quality control would've caught it, etc. I was also asked many times to turn the sandwich over for "testing". well, turns out they didn't need the sandwich (I didn't give it to them), they tentatively identified the problem. apparently it's old, spoiled dough from the company that makes their buns. the machine collects this in areas that aren't cleaned properly, and eventually this sort of thing "happens". quality control is supposed to catch it, but didn't. nobody at the location did either, and it's a VERY noticeable issue. so, in essence, according to them it was old, spoiled dough that got cooked into the bun. are they doing anything about it? no. did I get an actual apology at least? no. I just wish I could make a solo post and post photos of this...
Read moreThey mark up every item and addition when making delivery orders. Every single item gets a 20 percent charge added to them ontop of service fee, delivery fee, and taxes. As well as a tip, take the tip out of the extra costs to the food and stop guilting me into tipping more. You can't illegally mark up the cost of something like this it's illegal
They recently stole my order and wouldn't refund or send the correct order to. I deleted my McDonald's account and I'm never going back to a McDonald's again. I tried to order 2 sausage and egg mcmuffins, a chicken mcgriddle, two hashbrowns and orange juice for myself and my roommate. They packed someone else's order into my bag and delivered it with DoorDash so I ended up with a chicken mcgriddle, hashbrown and an extra large coffee with sugar I can't have because I'm diabetic. When I called to complain, an Indian man told me they wouldn't refund me and I needed to call DoorDash because they picked up the food. DOORDASH DOESNT PACK THE BAGS THOUGH DO THEY? This store has me fuming angry, I ended up calling them to yell at them when even their support number told me they'd refund me up until their system decided I wasn't getting a refund, with no reason given. I'm honestly so mad about the lying and blatant theft I feel like I need to check myself into a mental ward. I'm diabetic I can't have sugar like what's in the coffee they could've made me sick! What if I had an allergy to those...
Read moreAt one time, McDonaldâs was a place where it was a family environment, where they cared about the safety of a child where they cared that your order was done right they lack so much and so many skills. Now I thought this location was nice but for 6month something weird going on, face expressions towards customers should be monitored for the excessive lack smiles and kindness. They have a big big attitude of âwhat do you want now? â (like if youâre not a peoples person, find another job. ) to a customer, whether you like them or not, is not professional. They screwed up my order I tried to bring to their attention (they never wanna fix it literally like a teenager thatâs refusing to clean their room )How they decide to address the situation they got me to back off. Congratulations McDonaldâs for you have succeeded Being such a hateful environment⌠if you actually care to change that maybe higher people not based on their pigmentation of skin, but theyâre qualification.
Make sure that theyâre able to bring a smile and serve people. For they lake loving and caring team members, instead its people that have a hard time putting a smile on their face, for they are affecting...
