Mr.Sub — Restaurant in North Perth

Lets just say if I could give a rating of 0 stars, I would have.

My family and I were very excited when we discovered a Mr.Sub here in Listowel...(we are originally from Kitchener, and the one there is amazing) My grandfather went on his own to get a sub for himself, my grandmother and I this evening, on his sub he asked for the garlic aoli sauce - when he got home he noticed they put mayo instead. My grandma and I had asked for the Spicy Thai Chicken Wrap, both as they come standardly but one with no tomato's and adding green & banana peppers... the wraps we got had nothing the website said it came with on it.

I went back with my grandfather and we were refused a refund (although we returned immediately, with both wraps fully intact). At first the man working told us he would take off whatever we didn't want on our wraps and add whatever was missing because if he made us new ones, he would have to charge us as he said he couldn't sell the ones we brought back to another customer now ????? So, although my phone was nearly dead and reception inside of the establishment was poor, he insisted that I tell him what is supposed to come on it so he can remake them properly 🤔 (I worked at pita pit long ago and was trained on the basic toppings for our signature combos... if the customer wishes to add or remove something, usually you would start making the sandwich by asking "it comes with lettuce, mayo and pickles, is that would you like and/or would you like any other toppings?") This guy had no clue what he was doing...

My wrap was so unappealing that since I was denied a refund, I paid the difference to change to the Spicy Barbacoa sub.. I asked for whatever it came with.... he informed me after already starting to make the sub that there was no coleslaw (which is supposed to come on it... it would have been nice to have been told this before hand ya know ?!) Alternatively I chose lettuce, some of which was brown... and the meat had several pieces of jiggly fat in it - EWW !!

I WILL NOT RETURN HERE, save your money and go to...

We ordered the South West Thai Chicken wrap. The guy behind the counter had no idea what goes on the wrap. Unfortunately, my husband had to return it and wanted a refund. He was told that was not possible as our returned wraps could not be sold to another customer (duh) at first he said he would only add or remove whatever we wanted and that we would have to pay for a new one. Eventually he agreed to make us new ones however, the new one was not much better. I don't know where they get their ingredients from. It tastes old and not at all fresh. Completely thrilled with my service at Mr. Sub Listowel! From the friendly greeting when I walked in the door to the perfectly toasted bun, loved the quality and service! Dhaval, who cared for me during my Subway experience, was wonderfully cheerful and accommodating….like he was genuinely happy I was there! Toppings were fresh, cheese bun was delish and cost was refreshingly reasonable. Do yourself a favour and stop in to see Dhaval….your belly, and your wallet,...
