Wendy's — Restaurant in Northwest Industrial

As always, the food here is standard. And good, I enjoy a good Wendy's. Especially a jbc At this particular restaurant, with a full hour till close, they would not serve me a hot coffee in Edmonton on a −20 day. I asked if they had any other hot beverages, they said no. Not only would they not give me a hot beverage, but they turned the heat off in the dining room.I know because I could see my breath in it.

The owner of the restaurant should be made aware of this as it's very not good for business. I would honestly consider changing the entire staff. The one guy at the front of the restaurant was asking and seeing if he could do a pot of coffee. I even offered to pay extra to have a pot of coffee and they wouldn't And not only that, they turned off the heat like and the place was filthy and they couldn't wait to get me out and you could hear them talking about how I should go get an English muffin. I'm sorry, but I wanted a burger. That's why I went to Wendy's. I will never ever visit this restaurant again. And I strongly encourage anyone who lives in this area not to go by this Wendy's. The staff is terrible, it's very unclean. At least the food's still good. That's why it got three stars for the food.But even that there wasn't much mayo on the sandwich, the veggies looked terrible and honestly I will never ever go to this wendy's, again and I recommend no one...

Went to this Location Ordered a couple of Spicy Chicken, making use of the Survey Offer. Asked for them Well Done. Sat Down and waited about 5 minutes. Order came up, and I retrieved them from the Counter. Took One Bite and instead of being Hot, the Meat was barely above my body Temp. I went to the Counter and spoke a Woman, when I told her the Meat was barely above Body Temp, her reaction was a Shrug and Meh. I then returned with the Sandwiches and said to her that they were basically Garbage as they were unfit to eat. Another Meh, and shrug. So I threw them in the trash in front her, and more Shrugs and Meh from her. Next day I filled out the online Review stating what I said above. Within an Hour, Wendy's was phoning me. Full of what sounded like phony Apologies... They offered me a Combo, I had ordered 2 sandwiches, and really don't like fries, so 1 Combo was an Insult. I refused the offer adding that, being a Complaint Meal, it would likely have have Spit or Worse added to it. I told them I would Never eat there again. However a few weeks later, I did return and asked for a Refund, and the Woman who gave me the Money back, remembered me as she was the One who...

It is a pretty typical Wendy's. Their service is generally fast for lunch rushes, which is great. Rarely get an order wrong. The dining room is dated and usually very hot for some reason. The drive through has giant potholes so be careful! Better than average location though. UPDATED 10-03-24: The renovations have been completed - wow, now it's even worse than ever! They made the dining room smaller and ordered the cheapest tables Wendy's has available apparently - the dining room is noisy, already seems dirty and run-down with way less seating than it had before. Nobody knows where to stand when ordering, the service is much slower than it used to be and nobody was getting receipts or order numbers printed out because nothing worked. A crowd of people standing around at the counter bumping into each other not sure of their order numbers...I won't go back. It's a pity - this was a favourite place of mine for years....
