This store is our go to store for the past 7 years as we live right next to it. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience by one of the new staff members called Anna. We entered the store at 9.50 and she literally seemed upset that we were there . I clearly told what I wanted but first she packed the wrong order , when I reminded her she rolled her eyes and said that’s all ? I told her I have two more and she should put lids on as of course she can see I am not going to eat 5 different cups right now and I am taking them away . She rolled her eyes again and threw all the ice cream in the bag and rudely handed them over to me . I asked her for spoons and she just picked them and threw them in the bag and rolled her eyes once more being annoyed. It felt like I didn’t go to buy ice-cream but asked for it as charity . I told her nicely that I saw all the times she was being rude and customers bring business. If BR has a policy of not serving after 9.50 they should put up a board . Have never faced such humiliation anywhere before in-front of my child. Very disappointed, young staff should be trained about customer service...
Read moreWent in to order a cake, grab some prepacks and pick up a paper sleeve for a gift card bought earlier in the month (the paper sleeve was misplaced or not received).
Was treated like a criminal by the employee/store manager who rudely asked for proof of purchase for the gift card before giving me the paper sleeve. I had to have my hubby send photos of the gift card before she handed over a paper sleeve. I am not sure why I was asked to jump through hoops to get a paper sleeve for my gift card?!
Needless to say, I didn't order the cake nor pick up the pre-packs.
I did speak to the store owner, who apologized on behalf of her staff. I have been a customer for over 20 years, but I understand the store has come under new ownership. I hope the owner hires better staff in the future, for the sake of her business.

All of my 5 family members bought ice cream here then I ordered mango, which I always order. This time dispute it was a brand you tub the flavour was bad, just tasted wrong like sour milk, i immediately turned around and said “something wrong with this, the flavour is wrong” and they simply could have just replaced it, but the employee was clear, “we don’t replace it if you don’t like it”, i said “I usually like it but this taste wrong”. Unfortunately we don’t offer refund or replacement. Then I ordered and paid for a different flavour.
