Big Grill Shawarma and Kebobs — Restaurant in Oakville

Honestly one of the worst experiences it kinda made me not even want to eat out anymore. So my friends and I decided to try this place cause we all love shawarma. I ordered two wraps and one chicken and rice. We got are food now and I bit into my wrap tell me why the worst smell came out of my wrap like literally smelled like trash with maggots on a hot summer day..I knew something was off. I even was like maybe it’s just me so I let my friend smell it and her head flew back..she said that smells rank.So I’m shy but my friend was like no she’s going back there cause I spent my money. When she went back to the restaurant she told them to smell it and they themselves even said yeah it smells off. My one friend he had to go back home and he was extremely hungry and he told me he ate his and he ended up with food poisoning all night and the next day he couldn’t leave the bathroom. They did offer to give another wrap but didn’t want it so my friend said chicken and rice but even after I got it I was so turned off and who knows what could be done to it so i literally took one bit throw out the rest. I don’t know if we were the unlucky ones and they decided to give us rotten old stank food but I love shawarma and this was the worst will never support this...

Would not recommend coming here I ordered the shawarma poutine and asked for the garlic sauce on the side and I assumed the stuff would be on the side when I got home since the bag is not transparent. I get home and there’s nothing no sauce on the side or anything fries and chicken. I heard good things about this place so I drive 20 minutes to get there and 20 minutes back. When I came back to ask for a remake since my food is now cold they told me I should have come back earlier but it takes 40 minutes total? I ordered at 12 came back at 1:30? They were reluctant to remake my food and the person I was talking too was very rude trying his hardest to make up excuses to seem like I was in the wrong. All I wanted was garlic sauce on the side of my poutine as opposed to on top of it plus I didn’t even eat any of it before and still were trying to say I was wrong.Will not be coming back

EDIT: The response written confirms i will not be going back it's almost if you did not read what i wrote. I wouldn't say I refused to pay, i declined because i did not want to further give you my money. Learn to some customer service and maybe some reading comprehension...

I asked for half salad and half rice he made some weird excuse "it's a set portion" and to "order a salad on the side". I wasn't planning to eat that much so I thought "whatever no biggy, I'll just add some on top"

The cashier was a new kid who didn't charge me for the extra toppings, so the manager (I'm assuming that's his position with the way he was speaking to everyone) said "everything costs money, next time let them know" and said it loud enough to make sure I heard it. His demeanor made me laugh a little ngl.

I usually go to lazeez and get half rice/salad but didn't wanna drive too far so went here instead. When the owner worked here, he was much more polite and generous, this dude is just petty.

It use to be a good spot, but doesn't seem like it anymore. This is one visit after a long time though, so take my review with a grain of...
