Horrendous !!! My wife and I visited the location at 162 Lakeshore E . Bottom line: the food was utterly intolerable and left our meal and requested a refund. Upon explaining and showing the "food" to the staff she agreed to forward my complaint to the manager for refund. She said she couldn't provide a refund, but she could take my money, wow.
I should have known better not to proceed to order upon seeing all of the outside tables filthy, many inside the same, the drink station a sticky mess, all napkins dispensers empty, bathroom filthy etc, not a sign of proper maintenance. I saw a dirty saucepan at the pasta station but thought that there was no chance they would re-use it to "cook" or order, WRONG! The "cook" had no idea how to use the pasta station hotplate nor cook, made my wife's pasta in the dirty pan with remnants of a previous order still in it, hence the few pcs of old penne mixed in with the linguini. Paid $4 to add spinach & artichokes, barely any added, rip off. Badly wilted rotten lettuce in the salad and possibly worse the pizza was a soaking heap of greasy low grade cheese and puddles of oil to which the cheese slid off the dough. My wife refused to eat her pasta and salad, I didn't blame her, I tried eating couple pcs of pizza due to hunger but couldn't endure anymore. I could add more feedback but I think this is enough for now. We ended up visiting another restaurant on the street that has so many choices for quality food and dining experience at a similar price. After a week of requesting a refund I finally got it...even they knew this was...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars, I would. The owner was extremely disrespectful. Pizza was burnt, barely any pasta was given. There was a problem with the mobile system and my online order did not go through, I received a charge on my credit card and they did not give me the pizza. The simple solution was to give the pizza and call the a day and I could show proof that the money was charged. He proceeded to go cancel the payment through my credit card. At this point I was like whatever. I don’t get the pizza, they don’t get the money. Whatever. Then on the phone, I’m sitting down with my friends eating pasta (pasta wasn’t even filled, barely half was filled), and he waves me down multiple times, 5-10 meters away. He didn’t come up to me to tell me what’s going on, he waved me down like a waiter. He goes “YOU” and waves me down again to come to him. Sincerely, what is this? I’m not a dog or a waiter. I don’t work here. The port credit location is so much better, friendly staff, good pizza. Also the pizza was burnt
Edit: they are lying in the reply. If you look at other review, you can see a lot of burnt overcooked pizzas. And I live with my single dad. Also, the owner was yelling at their employee...
Read moreThis place used to be good, just at the beginning. The last time I went to the place, I was impressed by the owner's lack of respect for customers and employees.
I had a Downtown Oakville gift card and I wanted to use it since the restaurant was on the list that accepted it. The attendant passed the gift card and I paid the rest on credit, it had worked.
When the owner saw the scene, he approached me, questioning why the attendant let me use the gift card, which he said that “they did not accept”, and began to question whether I had paid or not. I had to show my bank app to prove I paid and he still asked me to call the number on the back of the gift card to find out if the balance was used.
While I was doing this, he was rudely arguing with the employee who had done nothing wrong, even pulling her hand away from the screen by pulling her arm. Finally I proved that I paid and got to eat my pizza, which was practically dry and without toppings.
While I was waiting for the pizza to be ready, he criticized the way the employee was preparing the next pizzas and adjusted it with his hand, without gloves, which was previously working on...
