Lokma Desserts Oakville — Restaurant in Oakville

Food is good but what is not good is their lack of options and the willingness to accomodate you. Me and my wife wanted Nutella filled lokmas, they only have one option on the menu that offers this, their Nutella Banana signature lokmas. I have an allergy to banana and my wife is not a fan, we asked to swap the banana out with a anything else like strawberry, we got "No", they could remove it and charge us the same price but no swap. I then asked if we can get their regular lokmas with Nutella filling, I will pay extra, we got another "No" and was told only one item on the menu has it. I hate when companies do this and think this will help them. Their main competitor, Zalabya, offer so many options and their staff is willing to accomodate you with any reasonable request and are 10 min from my house, Lokmas is 25 min away. I had a potluck and was assigned to bringing desserts. I grabbed 2 boxes of Lokma’s and 1 box of mini donuts and I was in for a delightful surprise. Not only was everything fresh but the flavours were amazing. All of my friends were super happy to eat everything also. The restaurant itself has a great aesthetic and is super clean! My favourite part is the hours. Where else can you find a dessert place that opens late. Even Downtown Toronto that isn’t a very common thing. Also the service from everyone was super positive when I came in, you can see everyone was happy to be there. I look forward to going back again and again. I didn’t get a picture of the Lokmas or doughnuts since those were taken with my partner’s phone but I did snap a pic of the tropical shake which I forgot to mention I ordered along...

Last November I went there after driving 25 mins from Milton on the opening day at 7:30 but they didn’t let us in and they said the offer for the opening day is done at 7 even on google maps it was still saying they were open! so i sent them message and told them how disappointed we were and at least they should let us in and pay with the regular prices cause I don’t care about the discount they had so he told me sorry for that and we will send you gift card as an apology and he asked for my address and after i sent it I didn’t hear from them or received anything , anyway I don’t care about the gift card but this is not a professional way to deal with customers and lying to them! And I don’t think i will go there again cause there are sooo many other dessert places way better...
