Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Oakville

EDIT (again)- Came back a few more times, it definitely varies in pizzas depending on who's there alongside the service. Had some pizzas similar to what I got before, had others that felt like they forgot I set some settings for the crust and just went with the default ones.

Pizzas are pretty good for the price here for their pick up specials. I ordered a home run bundle that came with wings, boneless chicken, wedges, and a 3 topping med pizza for 30. I don't think the full bundle was worth it, but they have other options that would be like the pickup specials.

Wings are crispy but a bit plain otherwise, nothing special here and same goes for wedges

Boneless meat inside was admittedly better than I expected for a pizza chain, but again that's about it

Extra cheese on the pizza works wonders, and the pizza itself is more on the crispy side rather than soft like pizza pizza or Papa johns. Edit: Orders take about 8 to 15 minutes if it's just a pizza, will probably take longer if you get sides...

Man the quality of the pizza here went down so much. I used to be willing to spend extra money here (this place is NOT cheap) because I loved their pizza dough, it used to be flaky outside and soft inside, but I went again this week and the dough looked and felt like rubber. No crispness, super compacted and hard to chew. It also had a weird diamond pattern on the bottom and the old one didn’t, so I assume they just use premade dough now. There’s also NO sauce anymore. Barely saw any red when I took a bite, and the cheapest pizza is a cheese for almost $6 per slice. That’s ridiculous for the current quality.

I suggest going to Gino’s pizza, maximum you could pay (for a DELUXE slice and not a basic one) is around 4.50-5$, and they don’t skimp on the actual pizza parts or toppings. Don’t think I’ll ever come here again. Pictures below...

Came here today to get food, was standing waiting for some one to turn around and help. When the gentleman did, he was wearing gloves and took our cash, put out change on the counter and went to cook food without changing them. I asked him to change the gloves before making or food, he looked upset and shook his head before taking them off. Saw him touch his hair, put on his hat without a hair net and went in the back. I'm sorry, but food preparation needs to have more rigid rules. Ignored us as we tried to flag him down for a refund. Is this how pizza...
