Calling this a "hidden gem" is an understatement. 3 Heures Bakery always came up in my search for croissant, but out of the 5 places I had tried (Saving Thyme, Tradition de France, Croissant Express, and Patisserie D'Or) they are the best. Light, flakey, and buttery. It hit all of the check boxes for me.
The staff, was very polite, friendly and kind. But I do recommend to call in your order. We just walked in, on our visit and had to wait for a few minutes (which was absolutely, not a problem for us).
Very cute little storefront and everything we ordered looked exactly like the pictures used by the owner. Seriously this has to be mentioned... everything looked as advertised, everything tasted as good as it looked!
What did we order? Prosciutto and pear sandwich (Perfect!, light, refreshing and savoury), pistachio NY roll (Excellent, and not overly sweet, chef's kiss), almond croissant (My wife's fav and excellent!, like the regular croissant, it's best out of the 5 places we tried). Other things we order that are going to be given to a friend later today; Tiramisu cruffin (we're going to try this ourselves next time go), mini pistachio and mini almond croissants.
The owner, knows their craft and you guys just became our go to place for...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience with 3 Heures. I ordered a box of 8 cream puffs along with other items through Uber Eats as a birthday surprise for my sister, but she only received 6. When I called the store to resolve the issue, the representative (Chris) was extremely aggressive and dismissive. Despite sending him a photo as proof, he refused to take responsibility and blamed the delivery service.
Instead of offering a proper solution, he told me to place another Uber order (suggesting I buy a croissant) so he could include the missing puffs. Why should I pay extra taxes, fees, and delivery charges for their mistake? This was frustrating and completely ruined the surprise for my sister’s birthday.
As a first-time customer, I’m shocked at how poorly I was treated. The store made no real effort to fix their mistake, and I had to go through Uber Eats for a refund. I expected better service and accountability. I won’t be ordering from here again and hope others are cautious when...
Read moreI was really excited to try the baked goods here and they were so disappointing!
The canele was gummy and rubbery instead of having the tender flakiness of properly made canele. I did like the creative london fog flavour, and wanted to try them all but no longer interested bc they seem poorly made.
The pain au chocolat was also not particularly tender. It seemed dry and over baked or old, and a bit bready/tough.
The matcha didn't taste much like matcha but I know some people prefer a milder matcha latte. It was good in that it tasted only a little sweet and was nice and hot. I also greatly appreciate the price point and no charge for non-dairy milk (honestly would give 5 stars for that alone, thank you for this)
The prices are very affordable, which is fantastic. Unfortunately the quality of what I had certainly reflected the cheaper price point. They didn't seem fresh or properly made. Would rather have paid more for something better. Not great when pastries leave you...
