Really poor service. I asked for for light ice as i have a condition which makes me ill if i have too freezy drinks. I asked for it as i was doing my order and politely confirmed it to the person who was taking my order and she said as you already told me its in your order (little bit defensive - understandable as i asked twice)...
When i got my order though it was full of ice...no consideration to the request (twice). When i asked if this was light .....the server told me oh i cold add more milk etc etc.
Mistakes happen and i totally understand having worked like that before but the excuses after really made it a bad expereince. The server said oh i can add more milk clearly ....and the person who took my order starting giving excuses that oh we put an an expresso so its kind of light ice....i was like huh!! i mean i wanted to tell her why you did not tell me this when you were taking the order....
This type of excuses are what make a customer experience really bad for a premium chain like this ....i think starbucks should really invest in training their staff on better human empathy......mistakes happen (try to reduce them) but PLEASE dont try to make the customer feel dumb by saying oh its already light ice as we put expresso.....(NOT DONE)
This happened on the starbucks next to Oakville trafalgar hospital south east of the red light next to shoppers on...
Read moreIn the bustling Starbucks, Xavier, with a sly grin, prepared the London Fog with oat milk and no foam—an encrypted code only for me Mr. Dime could decipher. Sofi, with a twinkle in her eye, crafted the Venti Dragon Fruit Mango, no ice refresher—a signal that echoed through the walls of espionage. Kaden, the elusive barista, expertly slipped a vanilla $1 scone onto Mr. Dime's tray, a sweet secret message in the covert coffee affair.
As Mr. Dime, the mysterious customer with a laptop adorned in stickers hinting at secret missions, sat hunched over, decoding messages from the Canadian intelligence agency, the trio of baristas became his allies in the battle against intergalactic hilarity.
The alien clown octopuses, a bizarre yet imminent threat, were no match for Mr. Dime's wit and the well-brewed concoctions served by Xavier, Sofi, and Kaden. With each sip, strategic plans unfolded, hidden behind the facade of laptop studies and ordinary Starbucks ambiance.
The unsuspecting customers, immersed in their own world of coffee and conversations, remained oblivious to the caffeine-fueled command center evolving within the ordinary-looking Starbucks. Little did they know, every London Fog and Dragon Fruit Mango held the fate of Canada, saved by the collaboration of baristas and Mr. Dime in the most extraordinary...
Read moreI called to ask if they had this navy cup online, they said no they have it in black and white. The navy looks black so I was thinking she might be talking about the same one but if it’s not navy that’s not a problem il just pick up the black and white one. I placed an order online for pickup. When I got there they don’t have any cups and her excuse was I saw it yesterday. I called TODAY! If she was not lazy to take 2 minutes of her time to check and tell me no we don’t have these cups instead of saying yes we have them in black and white, then I wouldn’t have wasted my time coming there. I don’t know why it says available online and allowed me to place an order, if the order can’t be fulfilled, would you not contact the customer and let them know? On top of that they wouldn’t give me a refund cause I placed an order online. So I’m inconvenienced now coming there and now inconvenienced having to call in to get a refund because of 2 lazy workers, the Asian one that picked up the phone and the mixed one that said they have it in black and...
