Terrible experience. Had a coupon for 2 mighty melts for $5.00 however I was unable to order what I wanted. While I understand that there are 3 options to choose from, all of which are meat options, I requested to have only veggies on them as I am a vegetarian. I was told that 1 veggie melt would costed me $5.05, so instead I requested 2 meat one without the meat so I can use the coupon (2 for $5). Two ladies in this store gave me an extremely hard time. I could barely understand one of them then the other lady buds in and tells me that she can’t remove the meat because of the system having no veggie option for the coupon. I kindly asked if she could just charge me for meat one and not put any meat on it but she said that it would ruin the “inventory count”. Like seriously, how serious is it? It’s not like I’m asking for extra meat and deducting from the inventory, I’m asking for no meat so you guys will have extra meat! It was so stressful and I had enough. I don’t understand why she couldn’t just throw the meat out or pack it on the side so I could throw it out or something. I was so upset that I opt to get something else instead. She later apologized while cashing me out but at that point, it meant nothing. I was working and on the clock, I wasted so much time trying to ask her to work with me to make it work but she gave me no options. I later went to another subway for dinner and they completed my request with no complications. Very simple. The lady at this location really just wanted to give me a hard time for no reason. She also had a very unnecessary attitude. I’ve been to many locations as I work mobile and at another subway, the lady was so kind, making conversation, smiling a lot & even gave me a free cookie with my order out of kindness. This subway could really undergo some customer service training. There is absolutely no excuse for this lady’s behaviour and unwillingness to cooperate here. Read more20+ year Satisfied Subway customer. Ordered my usual meatball sub recently at this Subway on 2530 #7 Third line in Oakville. A few bites in, bit into what felt like a foreign object, rubber, plastic etc!!?? Totally turned me off and felt sick but was so hungry that I tried to keep going. The next couple of meatballs were not much better and had to remove the rest of the meatballs and just eat the bread and condiments. Called in immediately after getting home as I was already on the road to Hamilton and a representative from this Subway at 2530 #7 Third line in Oakville told me to come back in and they would give me the same order ( combo, roughly $20.) free of charge. Returned the next morning to get my free combo to eat at lunch the next day ( went with tuna as I wasn't chancing the meatballs again) and was told that because I had not brought the disgusting sub in with me to return it to them, lol, that all they could do was give me a free 6 inch sub. Wasted another drive out to Oakville for a false promise. I will definitely never eat at this Subway at 2530 #7 Third line in Oakville again. I'm turned off of my favorite sub that I've been enjoying for over 20 years because of this and will try to avoid ever eating at any Subway again due to my experience with this specific Subway at 2530 #7 Third line in Oakville. Read moreThis location has gone SO downhill. My husband bought 2 sandwiches for our lunch today and when he picked them up, he noticed that they were rock hard and the bread was stale.
He immediately complained and requested fresh ones. Both ladies behind the desk started fighting with him saying that they were fresh! They stated that the “got a new oven” and that’s the way they are now, crispy…..🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️.
Because they were already wrapped, he unfortunately took them at their word. When he got home and we took them out of the bag, you couldn’t even eat them. They were SO HARD and falling apart.
We have been customers of this location for many, many years and we have had multiple issues with them serving stale bread. This was the last straw!!! For the first time my husband actually complained and they totally dismissed him, fought with him, and lied to his face.
These sandwiches were only suitable for the garbage and that is where they ended up. Money down the drain and a customer lost forever.
