This place was a great find in this city!! Great customer service, great food and great to find a place with that awesome team that run the place. Great group of client base. Lots of dining space. I went with my little one and we enjoyed several options for appetizers. They have a wide range of appetizers which I find amazing!! A few arcade games for guests to play. In the back area they have billiards table for pool playing. If your a beer enthusiasts you will love the options available from cans, bottles, on tap. The place has so many options I had to write about it in my review. You don't see that many options at too many places. The food menu has a large variety of options for lunch and dinner. We played musical chairs from sitting inside to resting on the patio. It was a bit chilly outside so we left the restaurant just after ordering food. The manager and staff were awesome as we ran back to our hotel for our sweaters by keeping our food hot and served to us hot. I will definitely return to try more of the food options in the future. The owner is great with kids and cracked jokes with my lil one about the time of reciept. Hahaha 😆 😂 He asked my lil one if he wanted a job for washing dishes and for my lil ones bill will be cash or debit hahahaha love the place. Another feature is the awesome choice of work attire. I noticed the girls wearing awesome English style clothing which reminded me of my travels to overseas. Give this place a try if you travel to London and staying at the hotels nearby. It's definitely worth your money and worth a try for any beer enthusiasts! The patio is awesome even the patio on the side of the building which is awesome.

I've been a huge supporter of local business's especially restaurants, through the pandemic. Ive been a regular customer at London Ale House, and order through skip the dishes. Not Anymore! A week ago, I ordered beverages and food, my food was cold. I assumed it was my skip drivers error, it happens. The last straw was tonight. I ordered 2 beers and a small fry. My order was handed to me in a plastic bag, which is odd, since every other order from Ale house is packed and sent in stapled paper bags. As I was walking to my home, I noticed the plastic bag, containing my order had "liquid" leaking from it. Upon further inspection it appeared one of the beers caps was removed. I contacted Skip and their customer service was "offline". I then contacted, London Ale house. A male employee answered the phone and I explained that my order was damaged. He then says "oh yeah, I'm the one that packed that order, I out it in a plastic bag so nothing would happen to it". I found that response extremely odd. How did he remember my order right away. Its my belief, that Ale house tampered with my order out of spite, for merely giving a thumbs down on skip, for cold food on my previous order. Call it a stretch, but Ale House isn't known for taking customers into consideration. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice, shame on you. Never Again Ale House! I'll be very surprised if I get at the least, a response, let alone "apology"

Went to the Ale House after 8 for $7 apps. It was also Wednesday so they had $8 burger special too. I ordered a poutine, chick-fil-eh and tzatziki dip. The g.f. got the basic burger with poutine. The poutine was good, great portion size for the app menu. The chick-fil-eh was a little dry, good concept but I wouldn't order again. The tzatziki dip was probably the best of the three apps. The g.f. said the burger was really good, much better than a Chucks Roadhouse burger which would be similar price. The beers were great, they have an amazing selection, best in London. They also had Grolsch on for $4. We shared the heavenly has brownie trifle for dessert. It was awesome for a $5 dessert. Our waitress Samantha was great, friendly and speedy service. Bill was just over $50 which is great value especially in these times. One strange thing is the sign outside said 40 cent nuggets but when I tried to order some apparently they weren't on sale??? Weird because the leafs game at 8pm part of the sign was very accurate. Regardless I would return and would recommend the Ale House.

Ale House is truly something magical. On your first visit, you'll have the feeling of familiarity. You've never been there before, yet you can't shake the feeling that you have. Others on here will point out the cheap drinks or modestly priced food, but neither are what keep you coming back. I remember first walking in at 11am looking for a quick lunch in an unfamiliar city. "Are you guys open for lunch?" "Yup" the waitress replied. "Everyday?" "Everyday." "When do you close?" "You're not from around here, are you?" I wasn't. And little did I know what this place would come to mean to me in such a short time span. Whether it's Jay asking if you want your usual, or Tony with wisdom beyond his years, you realize you're not buying drinks, you're paying to spend just a little more time in here. Because it's not the drinks or the food that keep you coming back, its the people - from the waitresses, bartenders, food staff and, yes, the regular patrons. You don't need to tell your friends to meet you here because everyone that walks through those old wooden doors knows that your friends are already there, waiting for you, even the ones you haven't met yet. If you stay long enough, you'll laugh, you'll pour your heart out into a glass, and yes, you'll probably get a little too drunk and talk a little too loud. And if you're like me, you may experience all four in one night. But that's what makes this place special, and the memories and friends I've made here will last a lifetime. Some people call it the black hole, swearing you're only having one but staying till close. Some just call it the Ale. But for my short time here in the city, for me, I've called it home. I know you will...
