Athidhi Indian Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Ontario

This restaurant is a joke. Visited 6 times, everytime its horrible. I'm commenting only on the items i ordered and if I start commenting on items ordered by my family, it will be an essay. 1: After drinking water, we all got Diarrhea, decided to go with our own water bottles. Cannot trust restaurants water.. can't blame them. 2: Dosa chutneys were cold, the price is same or greater than other restaurants, but got freezing cold chutneys. I let it pass 3: Ordered paneer Biryani, oh god, what a recipe, mixed 6 Paneer manchurian pieces in basmati rice and thats Paneer biryani, taste less. 4: Veggie noodles. Those are frozen vegetables mixed with noodles, the veggies were cold and the raw taste did not leave them, i made better noodles at home than them. 5: Ordered Veg Dum biryani, what can i expect - i receive fried rice with vegetables. 6: Ordered Kadai Vegetable Paneer masala but i got paneer tikka masala, called them and they what i received. The genius receptionist said thats Kadai Vegetable Paneer masala and they don't add any vegetables apart from Green Bell peppers + onions + paneer. And i asked what the difference between two, she said the one is sweeter side and other is hot. GENIUS Isn't it. Sometimes i let it pass but other times i asked the waiter, they are awesome bluffers. They argue that the entire world is wrong and they are right. They call Paneer Tikka masala as Kadai Vegetable Paneer masala and with no vegetables, GREAT. Heard that couple of students gathered and set up this restaurant, i wish they would they in the college longer and learn what is what. Chef is a genius, he knows 3 recipes and calls different names for the same 3 recipes -- another GENIUS. I really don't understand the ratings at all... I guarantee, that students are asking friends for reviews -- CHEATING... But their choice, any one with the right mind and values your money, RUN from this restaurant. Came back after a fantastic first experience. Again, delicious food, lovely staff, and so much to try! This time we had a Ghee dosa with bullet spice, butter chicken, dahi puri (my new fqvourite- absolutely delicious and made by our waitress Ayusha who was also impeccably polite, helpful, and attentive), onion naan, bullet roti, garlic basmati, and chicken dum biryani (so good, so much flavour). We're 2/2! Hope to be back soon!

Randomly ended up at Athidhi Windsor tonight. Clearly a hidden gem - I've never heard anyone mention them and we were the only ones dining in tonight. It might be my new favourite Indian place. I have tried a TON of places from here to London, and finally stumbled across one!

Their menu is massive (and a little overwhelming), so it was hard to decide what to get, but I can't wait to go back!

We had:

Very poor food. They are serving cold food. I odered noddles. I throw all the noddles into the garbage. Noodles was like very hard to eat as well as too much spicy. The rates were too much high like they are service best quality food in ontario. 😂 lol.

What???? What are you saying????? I am going to attach the pic of bill to clear that this is from your restaurant as you are saying i did not come here. Open your eyes and check it. Daal makhni was proper spoiled. If you have trust issues please confirm with your front dest girl and also with your workers as i complaint to them. They were also agree with this. Ask to them before making any stupid reply. And tell me Who is ritu?? What are you saying???……..

Its my choice that when i have to give the review. Whenever i want to give, i will give and it does not matter how late i gave. The food of your restaurant was spoiled and i already mentioned ask your workers that your food was spoiled or not. Instead of arguing me, give attention to improve your food quality.
