Thai Gardens is a staple in my household. At least once a month we'll order Pha-naeng with beef and Pad thai with chicken, mix some of the curry sauce into the pad thai and it's literally the best dish in town. The serving of pad thai is enormous too. Though that's our classic order, we've also tried the following menu items, all delicious. Pho pia pak (chicken) Chicken satay Both chicken and beef gyoza (sauce comes already on the dumplings which isn't my personal fave but my husband loves them, and you get so many for a low price) Tom yum soup with tofu (a seriously perfect dish for fall, warmed me up from the inside) Pho noodle soup (not a typical pho dish, but since we don't have a Viet restaurant in town it definitely satisfies the craving. They add a tasty and spicy sauce on top, which I love but might not be to everyones taste) Gang Kaew Wan And we've also ordered a Dinner for 2 a while ago and it was also tasty and filling. Thai Gardens is one of my top 3 restaurants in Pembroke/Petawawa, definitely recommend. One day I'll remember to take photos but we usually just jump right...
Read moreI was extremely disappointed with my recent visit. The customer service was very rude from the start. The prices on the menu did not match what we were actually charged at the register. She went as far as to say that she was selling food at a very cheap price, and if we couldn’t buy it, we shouldn’t eat there.
This response was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. On top of that, the food was quite pricey, especially considering the mediocre quality and small portions. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fair prices or respectful customer service. Avoid if you value being treated with basic courtesy and getting value...

When I asked about it, I was told the food is now more expensive. Later, while picking up my takeout, the lady at the counter made an unprofessional comment, saying something along the lines of, "Why are you talking about the price? If you can't afford it, it'll be expensive everywhere," implying that her price is already the cheapest around.
To me, this isn't just about money—it's about honesty. Customers should be charged what’s listed on the menu, and if prices have changed, the menu should reflect that. Transparency and respectful communication go a long way in building trust. Unfortunately, this experience left a...
