The only thing I can't personally talk about is the taste of the doughnuts. I unfortunately can't eat these incredible looking/smelling doughnuts, but my family fairly drools at the mention of picking up a couple. My spouse says the doughnuts are old-school, like a Valley Nana would make. We've been popping in to grab a few now and then since they opened, and some of the highlights for me have been: - the staff. Absolutely some of the BEST customer service in the Valley. Staff has always been upbeat, funny, easy-going, friendly and kind. Once, my child didn't have quite enough change for their doughnut and the staff happily allowed her to still have a doughnut (I popped in when they told me to pay, haha). Always happy to offer recommendations and favourites. - the window! We love the giant window that allows us to watch the process of the doughnut making. Anyone who is making doughnuts when we peek in is happy to see us watching, waves and smiles. - the decor. It's just inviting and fun. 😁 - the variety!! Some of the combinations have been hilarious, others ingenious. Even though I can't have them, I look forward to see what pops up on the feature menu. - engagement. Contests for new flavours, openness to suggestions, responding to customers raves and complaints...owners that want their community to be involved is so nice to see. They even created a custom order for our theatre group's cast party! It's not easy to do it all as a small business owner and these folks are killing it. - coffee. Need I say more? So happy to see the Petawawa location open as well! Well done everyone. 🍩🖤

I Had a buddy go into the shop and pick up a bunch of donuts for myself for the first time, himself and his kids. He instantly got told to leave the shop due to the girl serving having personal issues with my buddy I guess. I will not be going back there, and wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone after that first experience! What poor service and poor attitude the server had. Get over it and serve your customers properly. I am absolutely disappointed! There never should have been drama in the work place to begin with! Now the owner is lieing and saying I made his worker feel unsafe! Here is an attached photo! In my statement it even specifies that I didn’t enter your facility! No plans on ever entering after the way I’m getting treated! Please reach out to my father who is an ex cop and let him know how you are treating his son!

Okay guys, here's the thing: there's a solid chance you've never eaten a doughnut. Not really. These doughnuts are to standard, Old-Hockey-Player 'doughnuts' what hand-made, fresh beef hamburgers are to Scary-Clown 'hamburgers'. The risk, of course, is that your standards will rise in accordance with how great these things are. But then, if (when) that happens, you'll just be able to doughnuts here for $10 for a half-dozen and all will be well. Do yourself a favour and buy doughnuts here. On that note, do everyone you work with a favour and pick up a few packs to share with the office/shop. Eat doughnuts, get full, make friends. Everyone wins!

So this place sells two things. Donuts and coffee. It's a donut shop so you'd expect the donuts are good, right? Well, that's correct. They're good. Honestly, they're the best donuts in town. They're on par with Suzy Q and Maverick Donuts in Ottawa. But you know what makes these donuts so special? They're not the standard cake donuts you find everywhere. These are yeast donuts. They're light, fluffy, sweet, and absolutely delicious. I, personally, would take these over Suzy Q any day of the week.

Wait! What about the coffee, you ask? Well, as a person who drinks unsweetened black coffee, I'm a little particular about it. They sell brewed Engine House coffee, a roaster in Eganville. So it's local. And the coffee itself is great. A little citrus flavour and a low-acid profile help it go down fantastically with a cinnamon sugar donut. Seriously. I havent had coffee everywhere in town yet but this is my new go-to for a cup o' joe, with or without the...
