Came with my family after being recommended this restaurant highly by our cottage neighbour. Worthy praise I must say.
The Fish & Chips here are well-seasoned and fried to perfection 👌. I liked that the batter they used was light and crisp and tasted like it was freshly made. Fries are addictive and could really taste the potato in them. Amazing food here, count me in to be a repeat customer in the future!
Some notes on the dishes: Clam chowder had lots of seafood in each spoonful, but a lil pricy imo for the size Halibut texture is more firm while haddock is more flaky. Both are delicious choices and I enjoyed both Fries are fantastic, much preferred this over the onion rings The fish & chips are undoubtedly the best part of this restaurant, I would stick with those and skip the seafood...

Haven't been here since COVID as we've moved away, but we knew we'd be back for Bounty FishnChips!!! We always order the Halibut and it's always so good - perfect crispy light batter and their fries are excellent. The satff is wise to 'orders' and ask - condiments?, plates? napkins? but their Bounty-made tartar sauce is availble if you ask for it. Their halibut does not demand tartar sauce, but it's such a nice dip for the fries, anyway you like it. The service is friendly and if you are taking out, they'll deliver to your vehicle so you don't need to stand around. It's fast and the food is HOT when you get it. Our quest for GREAT fish n' chips may be over, Tried Bounty on October 02,2020 and found just what we were looking for. First off, it's a nice little restaurant with good off-street parking and a presence on the street. Inside, it's neat and tidy and all things a fishnchips place should be, Service was fast and helpful and at this (COVID) time we could eat in or take out, which was what we opted for. The fish, (Halibut) was delicious, not greasy or overcooked, in a light batter. Portions were very good.
