An early birthday dinner for Joey🤍✨#fyp #restaurant #foodtiktok

TLDR: Great restaurant serving delicious food and exceptional service from the ladies running the front of house. We came here on a rainy Wednesday and the place was quite lively (good sign). We chose to sit outside given the pleasant unexpected warm October evening and beautiful outdoor space they have curated. The dining tables are covered from the rain with big umbrellas or a gazebo. First time dining in the rain - quite enjoyable. I did not make reservations but the hostess (believe her name is Jenna) was very helpful in assessing when tables may open and putting me on a waitlist and estimating a 20 minute wait. After a 20 minute stroll around the neighbourhood, I walked back and they sat us down. For two guests, we ordered the Rustica meatballs, Rustica caesar salad and the seafood pasta. This was just the right amount of food. The Rustica meatballs comes with three meatballs covered with melted cheese sitting on a copious amount of chunky tomato sauce and two pieces of toasty baguette. Simple and delicious. The Rustica caesar salad was quite large and very fair for the $14 price tag. If you enjoy garlic, you will really like the pungent garlic in their creamy caesar dressing. The romaine lettuce was fresh and crisp and stood up to the generous amount of dressing used. The pickled onions were a nice touch to cut through the creamy dressing. The seafood pasta uses fresh squid ink linguine. I think the sauce is just olive oil and the juices from the seafood. While I understand the intent is to let the flavour of the seafood shine, I think a light tomato sauce would compliment the seafood and elevate the dish. Our server, Kelsey, was great. She was friendly, easy to talk to and attentive, can't ask for more.

Top notch service and food

We showed up for Dinner on Thursday night around 5ish ,(No reservation) and saw how busy they are but fingers crossed we asked anyways we were greeted so nice :-) There was no tables available as there was pre-booked reservations but that didn't stop them from finding us a place to sit and enjoy. We sat at the bar and quickly met by (John,John LOL) How was amazing to chat with. This being my first time there I quickly looked over the drink menu saw a few drinks that sounds yummy but figured I would let John pick my poison LOL . (Tomba Sour ) wow it really hit the spot what a yummy drink was so happy with his choice I then traveled to the apps he suggested Piatto Medio (but told him we wanted to still try some pizza) so he then suggested

  1. Arancini rice balls(Almost as good as my Grandmothers WOW) the balls were crispy on the outside and the cheese was perfectly melted in the middle and the sauce MMMMMMMMM (cooked perfect my compliments to the chef)
  2. Stuffed Calamari Arabitta - WOW I mean the Calamari was perfect not rubbery at all almost melted in your mouth then stuffed with Sausage that filled the whole Calamari and then paired with a spicy tomato sauce I mean Dammmmnnnnnn sooooooooo Yummy I could have just eaten them and been satisfied with life itself LMFAO (Just wow super delicious) But Nope John John was not done with us yet so we moved onto the pizza (Since I moved from Mississauga last July I haven't had a great pizza since) so again I ask what do you suggest he went with
  3. Sunshine City - OK Guys come on Apples,Smoked Pancetta, double smoked cheddar and local Honey (I thought he was out of his mind) but I said go for it , YUP I was wrong the apples almost caramelized with this beautiful sweetness with the Pancetta and smoked cheddar yup they hit every taste bud with a KO punch From Mike Tyson. The Chef then came out while we took our first bite of that pizza as we spent our night at the bar chating to all the amazing servers (which I wish I had there names) everyone in there is so happy and ready to assist one another to ensure perfect guest experience and they did on every side. So with myself and Jody being filled to the top. Yup John was not finished with us so we each grabbed another beverage and on to dessert
  4. Salted Caramel Warm Brownie - Ok John I mean im already trying to watch my Girlish figure and you go and throw a warm brownie with Vanilla ice cream and warm Salted caramel and a shot expresso on it I mean God damn Son you found the way to my Heart LMFAO

In all honesty this is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in the past 5 years and I have eaten at a lot the ambience with the staff and decor and amazing food coming from there Italian design and California assembled Pizza oven I will be coming back every week, But booking in advance so I dont miss out on anything.

Super excited for my visit this week will see you guys soon

Thank you for your service and please keep this up for all to enjoy, as you guys are in my Top 3 for sure and I have a really long list..

If you go here for dinner I promise you will not be disappointed

Ciao for now and Bon Appetite to...

We went for brunch recently and were very very disappointed. The brunch menu sounded delicious, but turned out to be different then described. The portions were very very small. We are thin people who usually fill up fast and cannot finish our plates, but the portions they gave us here were so small we ate everything and left hungry. We spent $80 on brunch and had to cook when we got home we were still so hungry. The food was too salty (especially the hash browns, the small amount they gave us were completely covered in salt and were barely edible). The coffee was good, but the rest of the food was just ok. Also the food took FOREVER to come. Not kidding, it was an hour after we ordered before we got any food. Even our coffee took over 25 mins and there were only 2 other tables with people in the whole place, not even busy. They need to train their staff better. It was terrible service. The waitress never once in our 2 hour stay asked us if we wanted refills on coffee, we had to keep going up to the bar to ask since she ignored our table. She never offered to get us more creamers, we had to go up and ask. Didn't check on us to see how the food was, brought ketchup that we requested out after our meal was done (20 mins after we requested it), did not check if we wanted additional mimosas, didn't bring enough cutlery, the toast that came with our meal didn't have anything on it, no option for jam or peanut butter or even butter for it unfortunately, They also don't have kids menu or colouring matts so I would not call this place family friendly. The prices were ridiculous. $15 dollars for 2 eggs and a minuscule bit of hash browns and plain toast?? $3 for chocolate milk or coffee that they never refill, $12 for 3 tiny tiny pancakes. We will...
