Burger King — Restaurant in Ontario

2025 Update: The late night staff is still incompetent. Don't even bother trying to eat here if it isn't during the day. Ordered a roadhouse crispy chicken sandwich and got a regular chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes on it. Not what we ordered. Called back and spoke to a manager and they told us the sandwich would be replaced. Came back tonight to get the replacement and they gave us the wrong sandwich AGAIN! This time we got a plain chicken sandwich with cheese on it. When we tried calling repeatedly to fix this issues yet again, we got no answer. AVOID THIS LOCATION!!!! Nothing but incompetence.

EDIT: I am updating my review as the manager has reached out to me regarding this incident and I have been assured that the staff member has been spoken to and will be coached on how to better address these situations. My order will be replaced as well. Thank you very much to the kind store manager. She was lovely to speak to and dealt with the situation in a courteous and efficient manner. We will be back as this is location is close to home, and the rest of our food that was correct was fresh, hot, and tasted great.

The male staff member that I spoke to over the phone tonight flat out called me a liar when I said my sandwich was made wrong. I requested no mayo, and it said so on the receipt, however, the sandwich had mayo on it. I called repeatedly before someone actually picked up the phone as I was trying to have it replaced for another day, since it was 10 pm and I was already home for the night and in my pajamas, and the male then told me that I was wrong because he made that sandwich personally and there was no mayo on it, so I must be lying, and the fact that I didn't want to bring it back tonight confirmed that. Let me tell you a story, a tale, is it were. A tale of a man on a ledge. A figurative ledge, and a literal ledge. Our first ledge is a literal one; it was me on a curb at a crossroads. On one corner was McDonalds a tried and true companion of delectable delicacies, the other The King of all Burgers as it were, The "Burger King". After a few seconds on this curb in quiet contemplation waiting for a green light I went with my gut and ventured forth to the latter establishment. I was greeted cordially and ordered a whopper for it was Wednesday; a fine day for burgers indeed. What follows is an accurate representation of events and conversations.

Myself - "Double Whopper with No Tomato and No Onion" Cashier - "No Tomato, No Onion?" Myself - "Correct"

(Some minutes later I overheard the exchange between the cashier and the Burger making girl, BMG for short)

Cashier - "This Double Whopper has no tomato or onion?"

(The BMG didn't hear so the Cashier Repeats her question)

BMG - "Yeah"

So imagine my surprise and dismay when I sit down 15 minutes later and prepare to dive into a burger that is revealed to be stacked with onions and tomatoes. Am I allergic? No. Do I eat those items in other meals? Sometimes. Did I remove them from my burger? You bet on your ostentatious, anti-vaccine promoting, crazy uncles life I did. As I type this review I still have ketchup and mayo residue under my nails from the ordeal.

So here I am on my proverbial ledge faced with a decision. You broke my heart BK. It's time I turn the page on the chapter of us and go to where I can really have it "my way".

I don't know what's up with this location but the quality is always terrible. I went back last thinking I would give them another try, but it was still terrible. First, fries were dead... ice cold. Second, the bun on the chicken sandwich was stale and hard. It definitely did not taste fresh. Third, I asked for extra mayo on whopper because the burger it is usually dry at this location. I got a few bites in and wondered if there was any mayo at all. There was, a pile right in the center. Disgusting. Fourth, I ordered it large size added they were out of large cups and wanted to give me a medium and small instead. Not a single enjoyable item in my meal. I officially give up on this location and...
