Bamboo Chinese Eatery — Restaurant in Ontario

My entire family has long ordered from Bamboo (and previously Ho Wah) and will likely continue to do so. The food quality is generally very good and usually consistently so. We enjoy ordering the combination plates. The red flag for us is the service. The fellow who takes your order over the phone and serves you when you pick up clearly does not want to be working in customer service. He’s generally cold, short and shows no energy or enthusiasm for serving you. This is truly unfortunate. I’ve heard some say “well, if it weren’t for how amazing the food is...” - but I don’t believe it’s sustainable to continue supporting any business if they cannot take kind and gentle feedback (such as this) and make an earnest effort to show care and appreciation for our business. We would give this place a 5 star if the owner was a bit more pleasant and took the time to listen to your order rather than try rush you off the phone. He definitely has no people skills and makes you feel like the only thing he cares about is making his money. The food is definitely amazing and portions are too but when you have to deal with such an rude person on the other end of the phone it makes me think twice about ordering from here again. We have ordered from here twice now and I am hesitant about ordering for the third time as I feel that he doesn't value our business and stresses me out while trying to place an order as he seems annoyed if trying to mention something outside the order, (just give me your order and we're done), that's how he makes me feel and our office orders from here regularly but unfortunately probably wont'...

I love, love thier food,...but upto just recently I was informed that they are unable to put sauce on side!! THIS was the reason I switched and tried them out!,.... who likes soggy chicken soo gai!??,...NOT ME!!,... especially when prices everywhere have been jacked,...which I somewhat can understand, I like eating half now and half later,...because they give alot!!!, which I LOVE, LOVE!!,... but now the other half, WAS tossed this weak,....I tried, I really tried,....but just can't do it,...anyways take it how you want, it's my opinion, and now I guess I go back to the 'other' place,...sauce there is on side,...but thier coating a bit undercooked, ...not like yours used to be, but at least I can pan fry and sauce how I like!!,....until you change this small request,...you lost a customer, a pretty good one...
