Okay this is an update on Pat & Hanks on Tecumseh between Central & Walker Rd. Allright we tried them again and I won't be returning anymore!! We were Totally disappointed in the food again!! First the price!! Was $27.50 for a 3piece cod fish and chips!! The fish was flavorless, tasted like it was cooked in dirty oil along with the chips!! The chips were so dried out they were hard. Absolutely NO FLAVOR!! For the price they ask for it, it should at least taste good!! I know the price of things have gone up but come on, you want your food to be tasty!! I highly recommend that you don't order there if you want a good fish & chips! You will be disappointed. Now I have to find a new favorite place to eat!! VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER 😞

THIS WAS MY FIRST REVIEW Ok, I usually love Pat & Hanks, and it's my go-to place anytime I want fish and chips!! I'm from Newfoundland, so I love me fish! Lol This was the first time I was disappointed 😞 There was absolutely no flavor to the fish, the chips were dried out and the gravy was gross, I don'tknow if they changed the gravy or what but it tasted totally gross my husband & I will try it again. I got three different meals to get a feel for their whole menu. Haddock Meal: Was okay, fish is good quality and price wasn't extreme. Breading was fine. Chicken Tenders: Breading was very crumby and powder-like, little to no seasoning in the breading so it was generally bland. Deluxe Burger: Major gripe here, I don't get food from a restaurant to get store bought frozen burgers. Such a waste of my time and money when that happens. It isn't hard to make burgers from scratch. Getting the classic cloud shaped, cheap store brand burgers for the price of an entire box of 20 is insulting. The fry portion alongside the burger was also nearly half of what came with the other 2 meals, so a measly frozen burger and a meagre amount of fires for $15. If they don't have time to handmake burgers or money to at least by good quality frozen burgers, they shouldn't have them on the menu.

If you're going here, just stick to the fish menu. I don't think this establishment is going to live past the older generations in Windsor, it's very dated and doesn't offer much of quality beyond their...

We have eaten at this location and enjoyed many times, but I'm not sure what is happening.

We ordered back in April, it was Good Friday so they were super busy. The fish and fries were so soggy with grease and undercooked. I called to let them know that I thought it was unacceptable to spend $50+ on a meal that isn't edible. They offered me 50% off my next order (not satisfactory, but I thought maybe it was an off day due to being so busy)

Now nearly 10 months later, we decide to give them another shot by using our 50% off. I told the young woman on the phone (who was very friendly) about our last experience and specifically asked for the fish to be a crispy, golden brown, COOKED. We get home with our food and AGAIN it is under cooked and saturated with grease. It is currently in the oven as we speak.
