Central Shawarma — Restaurant in Ontario

Update: I tried their chicken Shawarma, as well.

Better than falafel but I felt that their garlic sauce needs improvement. The shawarma was generously filled with other toppings, sauce and hummus. Staff was different than previous visit but they were friendly as well. Wasn't too busy.

For falafel, I'd rate it 2.5 and chicken Shawarma: 3.5.

The person who served was very friendly and had a smile.

I tried their Falafel wrap and potatoes combo. Their falafel piece is big but was bit dry from within which made the entire wrap dry. Could be difficult to eat without a pop on the side. I believe, they can solve it by spreading falafel evenly across the pita. Very good amount of veggies in the wrap. I guess, their garlic sauce was lacking the garlicky taste and needs some improvement as it felt more kind of mayonnaise rather than the traditional toum. The potatoes were decent but can go level higher with a better garlic sauce. Plus point, They have pomegranate molasses too. Don't forget to add it. …Was going to give it a 3 star, but as soon I finished my meal, nope.

Ordered the beef shawarma platter and his falafels with a pop came to $27 with tax.

He microwaves his falafel, rice & potatoes.

The falafels were not fresh at all, were so dry, old, and I needed the sauces to get it down. Worst falafels.

The garlic sauce was pure mayonnaise. Maybe with a bit of garlic powder.

My go to spot in this area is Aloony Shawarma. Hands down one of the best in Windsor maybe even the best. 1005 Lincoln Rd, Windsor ON N8Y2H5.

I have tried almost all the items on your menu and I can say, that everything my family, friends and I have had has been fresh and delicious. I also know that you would never compromise the quality of your food, and would rather not sell it, if it is not as good as you would serve your family. Thank you for doing an amazing job each time! My friend's son ate all the French fries! Even though he never eats French fries anywhere (home or restaurant). All the drivers that deliver our supplies look forward to our deliveries, so they can stop in and get a shawarma.
