Byron Pizza — Restaurant in Ontario

A tale of two pizza’s - we have heard everyone rave about the quality of Byron Pizza so we were excited to give it a try on the way to Boler.

1st Pizza - I usually order a walk in special, pepperoni and cheese to keep it fair with all the other pizza shoppes my son and I review. However on this occasion, I took a friends recommendation and ordered :

1x Canadian pizza with extra pepperoni - thin crust.

The reason was that I could get a deal on the 4 topping.

✅ Quality ingredients and the pizza was piping hot.

Service was Ok at best. You can’t sacrifice service because you are working on many orders. Not to mention they are well staffed.

❌Greasy - my biggest mistake. That many cured meats on a pizza made it almost inedible and half of the toppings ended up in the box or plate, an there was plenty of them.

A lot of their specialty pizzas are topping heavy so I would be mindful of that when choosing a crust option. (Not thin)

Overall, my son and I were a bit disappointed but agreed to give Byron pizza a second chance and order our usual, pepperoni and cheese. When I was his age (13) I would’ve loved a greasy pie like this.

✅Slices - great looking slices coming out of the warmer and I like that they give you the box, very thoughtful.

✅ Sauce - pizza sauce is some of the best in town.

❌ Doughy - found the dough to be very dense but tasty.

This is likely the best pizza in Byron and could compete for the best in West London. If you are from the area, you should definitely check...

We have been looking for a new go-to pizza spot since January when our OG restaurant closed.

After many recommendations from friends and neighbours we decided to order over the phone for pickup. One medium pizza with pepperoni, bacon, feta and one panzerotti with mushroom, ham, and pepperoni.

Once we drove the twenty minutes home, it was evident the order was wrong. My pizza was missing the bacon, and instead had mushrooms (which I hate). My boyfriends panzerotti was missing the ham, and because the mushrooms used were fresh, it made the whole thing very watery and inedible to him.

I called the shop and let them know what went wrong and they were very good to deal with. They offered to remake the orders and deliver it to us, but because we live out of town it was too far. So instead they personally mailed us $50 in coupons for our next order.

Tonight we used the coupons they mailed and ordered two medium pizzas, and cheesy garlic bread. This time with 4 toppings each, and ordered over the phone for pickup. The food was amazing, made perfectly to order and not too greasy or watery.

Will be returning...

Ordered delivery online (Sep23) said it would be 45mins, it took over an hour to deliver.(I only live less than 10mins away, but didn't have my vehicle). Was supposed to get text updates, never got any, the delivered update actually came over half hour after it was delivered. The pizza was barely warm on delivery and looked like it had been sitting a long time, it was all congealed. Pizza looked poorly made and was cut terribly.(see photo) I Called in for help and got passed around twice and the last person I spoke to wanted to debate and keep talking over me instead of just helping me even though I was being very polite and calm about it all. I was supposed to get a follow up communication, received none. I was then told to call back next week to talk to the owner. Poor experience all around, I was expecting better. Ignore the low atmosphere score, I didn't do a pick up. The rest holds true. Wont go back, if anything Id say do a pick up order to be safe, surely it cant be this bad...
