Shawarma House Byron — Restaurant in Ontario

We have been going to this place for years and it remains one of our favourite places to eat. Hands down the best falafel in the city, possibly even the universe. It's one of a handful of places we readily sing the praises of to anyone moving into the area. The owner is fantastic, always providing friendly service and often generous extras as you wait. The food he makes is always consistent and amazing. It's no surprise this place has built the loyalty it has. It truly makes no difference which menu item you order, they are all fantastic. Our dog is under the impression that we go out of our way to take him to Springbank Park for random walks because he's such a good boy but it's really about the pit stop we make afterward to fill up on garlicky goodness down the street, the walks are just a convenient justification with the dog none the wiser.

If you've never been you're missing out. Fair warning tho once you try it you too will be hooked, it's just that good! Neither of us can actually eat a large at once but always order one to ensure a midnight snack at the ready and always find we regret not...

Absolutely done with this place. On three separate occasions they sent us garbage or messed up the orders. Today was the last straw. Instead of sending us our two individual fries with our combos they sent us a giant box of extremely old, rock solid, inedible fries (obviously just sending us whatever old fries left instead of making new). The giant box inevitably broke open in the bag and so the delivery bag was full of old, disgusting, rock solid fries. Just a complete lack of concern for the customer experience and laziness. Will not be ordering here again. Have wasted enough money.

Ordered two shawarma combos. Everything was fresh , well packed, not overly saucy (other places often result in a soggy wrap), very well seasoned meat. Was very pleasant, flavourful and enjoyable!!

Meat pie and Kebeh were absolutely delicious (I could eat a dozen of each) and both fresh tasting. Seemed to be nice and authentic Lebanese food. Ordered delivery so unsure of service but with the care it took to assemble our wraps I am sure the service is...

I have been to Shawarma House in Byron at least 9 or 10 times. The food is sooooo good, the service is always great but more importantly the staff and owners always make an impression. The owner always make a point to say hi to every person that come thru the door.

My first time going, the debit machine was down and I couldn’t pay. The owner asked me come back another day and pay. When I went back, he refused to take payment and told me not to worry about it. I left smiling and haven’t stopped talking about them since.

Tonight, I went in with my fiancé. We ordered a chicken shawarma, fattoush, 2 kefta, hummus and chips and a 1 grape leaf. When we got home we found 2 extra grape leaves and 4 extra kefta’s. I don’t ever expect anything like this. It made me smile and I’m grateful. I can only assume this isn’t the first time they take care of their customers like this.
