Chilli Flakes — A Heavenly Taste of Kerala!
I’m honestly not the kind of person who usually leaves reviews. But my experience at Chilli Flakes was so amazing that I just had to share it with everyone!"
Last week, I had the pleasure of trying their Pazhampori — and it was absolutely mind-blowing. Perfectly golden, crispy on the outside, soft and sweet inside — it felt like taking a trip back home to Kerala with every single bite. Even better, I paired it with their Beef Curry — and let me tell you, that combination was pure magic. The sweet and crispy Pazhampori alongside the rich, spicy beef curry created an unforgettable explosion of flavors!
But the magic didn’t stop there. I also tried their Special Chicken Biryani, Duck Curry, Chicken 65, and a few other non-veg specialties — and every dish truly impressed me. The flavors were authentic, the portions generous, and you could feel the love and effort put into every plate. It's rare to find a place that can consistently deliver such quality and soul in every dish.
A huge shoutout to the entire Chilli Flakes team for bringing back the true, nostalgic taste of Kerala. Thank you for your passion, your hard work, and for filling not just our stomachs, but our hearts too.
If you haven’t visited Chilli Flakes yet, you’re honestly missing out on something special. This isn’t just food — it’s a beautiful experience of Kerala’s rich culinary heritage.
Five shining stars from me — and many more if I could! Highly,...
Read moreWe recently ordered catering from this restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. Here's a breakdown of the menu and services:
Starters: The pork roast and beef deep fry(BDF) were both flavorful and perfectly spiced, making a great start to the meal. Salads: The Kerala salad was refreshing with a traditional touch, while the Caesar salad provided a familiar, creamy counterpart—excellent variety. Main Course: The appam and mutton stew combination was a highlight, with the stew being rich and aromatic. The vegetarian pulav was light yet flavorful, and the butter chicken was creamy and indulgent, satisfying both vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests. Dessert: The fruit salad with fresh fruits and custard was a simple yet delicious ending to the meal—perfectly balanced and refreshing. Service: They went above and beyond by providing chafing dishes to keep the food warm and a welcome drink, which was a lovely touch for guests.
Overall, the food quality, presentation, and additional amenities made the catering experience memorable. Highly recommended for events...

We ordered 17 Onam Sadhya from Chilli Flakes, and honestly, it was the worst food experience we’ve had in years. The quantity and quality were both a joke. The rice, sambar, and curries weren’t even enough for 10 people, let alone 17!
And the payasam? 🤦♂️ The “palada” was basically water with a drop of milk — looked like someone rinsed the vessel and poured it straight into cups. If this is called Sadhya, then next time I’ll just drink tap water and chew a banana leaf for flavour.
We paid good money expecting a festive feast, but what we got was pure disappointment. In Malayalam, we say: “Kakkan poyi koode” – and that sums it up perfectly.
Friendly Reminder to Others: If you’re planning to order Sadhya from here, make sure you carry an extra rice land curry’s from home, or else you’ll end up playing “Onam Fasting Challenge 2025” with your family.
