he menu at Ringawing is a wing lover's dream, offering a diverse selection of flavors that cater to all taste preferences. They have everything from classic options like BBQ and Buffalo to more adventurous choices like Spicy Thai and Lemon Pepper. Here's a rundown of my experience with some of their standout offerings:
Classic Buffalo Wings
Starting with the Buffalo wings, I was impressed by the perfect balance of tangy and spicy in the sauce. The wings were cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It's a classic done right.
Honey Garlic Wings
Next, I tried the Honey Garlic wings, which were a delightful combination of sweet and savory. The sauce had a rich, garlicky flavor that paired wonderfully with the sweetness of honey, making each bite incredibly satisfying.
Spicy Thai Wings
The Spicy Thai wings were a revelation. They had a complex flavor profile with just the right amount of heat. The blend of spices and the hint of sweetness from the Thai sauce made these wings an exciting choice for those who love a bit of adventure.
Lemon Pepper Wings
For a lighter option, the Lemon Pepper wings were fantastic. The zesty lemon flavor combined with the peppery kick made these wings refreshing and addictive. They were a perfect choice for those looking for something less saucy but equally flavorful.
BBQ Wings
The BBQ wings were another highlight. The sauce was rich and smoky, with a perfect blend of sweetness and tanginess. It was a classic comfort food experience that didn’t disappoint.
Beyond wings, Ringawing offers a variety of sides and appetizers that complement their main dishes perfectly. The Sweet Potato Fries were crispy and well-seasoned, providing a great alternative to regular fries. The Poutine, a Canadian classic, was generously topped with cheese curds and gravy, making it a hearty and delicious side dish.
The service at Ringawing was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, providing great recommendations based on our preferences. The Oxford Street location has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a casual meal with friends or family.
In conclusion, Ringawing on Oxford Street in London, Ontario, is a wing haven that should not be missed. With a wide range of flavors, high-quality wings, and excellent service, it's a perfect spot for wing aficionados and newcomers alike. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their delicious...
Read moreI have ordered from here a MULTITUDE of times and I feel obligated to say the service and food is ALWAYS hit or miss (more miss than hit).
We had ordered 3lbs of Garlic Parmesan Wings and if you're aware they use a sauce to coat them, making them white. The last 3 out of four orders they have been dry and looked lile they had a dusting of parmesan and have had to come and give us a side of sauce or a new order when we complained. This last experience is making 4 avid goers of the restaurant never go again. Not only were they the same, AND it was only 2.5 Lbs (yes, we used a food scale), we called and politely explained that they looked like they weren't sauced at all, but the woman on the other end of the phone would have you assume we accused her of poisoning our food, she was defensive and said "well I'm the one who sauced them" like that proves it was done correctly. It wasn't. We told her we honestly weren't happy and in the past someone delivered some sauce, she offered to redeliver the order after 4pm when their driver returned... It was 5pm when we called saying no one showed up BUT the person who answered the phone said she finished her shift at 4pm, told NO ONE that we called and that the new person couldn't do anything. We asked for a mamager whome had the authority to honour what she told us but she said she was the only one and after a bit of back and forth agreed to deliver a redo of 2 Lbs of wings. Fine, we're not monsters and this isn't her fault. We hang up and she calls back and says she can't deliver as the driver went home for a family emergency and we have to pick them up.... Okay, again, not monsters they were redoing at least a part of our offer so my partner just went and got them... He picked them up and they were EXACTLY THE SAME. DRY. NO SAUCE. He left and we will not come back. Horrible service, horrible wings. Previously one of my favourite restaurants but they obviously changed something and the left hand doesn't know what the rights doing. Extremely disappointing and will never come back....
Read moreI would give a 2.5 ish if I could .... this place used to have an awesome guy who cooked and ran it he knew how to cook lol unlike the people working here now.... and I STILL like 3 or 4 times a month minimum order just hoping ONE DAY they will get it right....
