Donya Kebab — Restaurant in Ontario

Went here with some friends late after mass. I probably ordered too much 😅, but I don't care it was good. The service was very good and if you asked for extra sauce or anything you could get it for no charge. We also were given extra flatbread for no charge as well. I got the Lamb Platter (8.2/10). Very tender. I got an extra Beef Tenderloin kebab (8.2/10). Also very tender and good. Beef Kebab (8.3/10). Really good and paired with the Hummus (8.7/10). Best hummus I've had which was smooth and tasty. There was also garlic sauce (8.3/10) as well which was creamy and flavourful. The last Kebab I got was a chicken Kebab which was really good (8.4/10). It had the most flavour and spices of all kebabs.

When, I initially looked up this place the highest rated item was the rice and I can see why (8.4/10). Lots of seasoning, spices and flavour and I was given a few cups extra because of the add-ons. There was a flatbread given to us with a pomegranate and mollases sauce that had a BBQ sauce type flavour (7.6/10). I found the flatbread to okay and the uptick is from the sauce. I think the sauce on the flatbread could act as a good marinade for the beef or chicken. There was a salad as well (6.2/10) It had a little too much tomato and a very strong dressing.

I asked how old the place was and was advised it was only 1 year old. My friends had been here before and told me the place is consistent. I'd recommend it and want to try the wings or tandoori chicken next time. Wow. I’m legit mind blown by this amazing restaurant. We order for over 40 people and they were able to have the food ready and look amazingly presentable in less than 2 hours. Their shawarma is also out of this world and the rice, the wings, the Kabab, and most importantly the meat in general was just so tender and delicious. On top all of this the staff was very very friendly, provided me and my father with a Kabab sandwich as we waited and kept making sure we were satisfied with how the presentation of the food looked. The presentation of the food was AMAZING. As you see we ordered 2 of these big plates, and a shawarma platter and it was all super fresh in span of 2 hour notice for them to get it all ready. It was the first day of business so I didn't gave bad rating not to demotivate good people over there. But will share my feedback for you to take a look. Will try to visit next time and update my ratings and comments as per my experience.

Had a bad experience with today's food. I took a full chicken and 25 wings, chicken which wasn't cooked completely only the outer area was cooked and inside it was uncooked meat. Strange!!!

Wings were the smallest I ever had and salty - would be ok if at least maintain salt.
