I recently dined at Mardin, and it was truly an excellent experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every bite reflected the authentic taste of Turkish cuisine. From the tender kebabs to the perfectly cooked rice and fresh salads, everything felt thoughtfully prepared.
A special mention goes to our waiter, Ondar, who made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely warm in his hospitality. His recommendations were spot on and added to the enjoyment of the meal.
Mardin is the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again — not just for the food, but also for the welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service. Highly...

I would avoid any wraps or skewers as they may come out dry. My recommendation to the restaurant would be to use more lamb or more fat relative to beef in their Adana kebap. As beef will dry out quickly.
Beyti kebab is more reliable due to the extra sauce.
Overall this place is better than most chain restaurants but the taste does not reflect the price you pay, for example in Toronto.

Read moreIf there is an option for zero stars, I’d give it to this place. Their portions are ridiculously low, they’re overpriced for their value, and specially with their family platters where their menu is misleading. The manager admitted to me that they basically changed their menu where their old platter for 4 is now called a platter for 5, yet it only comes with 2 portions of rice, 2 adana, 2 chickens. Basically 2 everything which can be split over 4 people but no way for that to be enough for 5 adults. I understand if it’s a family of 5 including kids, but when we say adults, they should be clear that it can’t be split between 5 people. Very...
