I have enjoyed a large variety of dishes from Double Double and Kingston Iranian Food. All the food is delicious and excellently prepared. What you may not know is that this business is run by only 5 people, 3 of those being part time. When you go to this business you are most likely dealing with the owner who is running herself to exhaustion so she can keep her business going. I see her working from very early to very late, she is absolutely dedicated to her business and supporting her family through the restaurant. She puts love into her food and does her very best every day.
I have noticed on several occasions that there has been a language barrier between the owner and part time Uber Drivers. Which may have caused some issues. She requires the drivers to have a bag to keep the food warm for her customers. She is hesitant to give orders to drivers without warming bags because her end goal is that her food arrives in perfect order. I have seen on a few occasions her requesting this with an explanation, but again, I believe there is a language barrier that has caused some issues. This has possibly resulted in unnecessary poor reviews that I feel are unwarranted.

Read moreWas in last night, a delivery driver can in to pick up an order for delivery. They were extremely rude to him. They wouldn’t release to food to him. They said he had to have an insulated bag. He said that he had his packaging in his car. They totally engorged him after. He said he used coolers but they still gave him hard time. As someone that had been in the catering business for over 30 years we always used coolers, they work quite well for keeping things hot. As new Canadians I understand you only know what you have been told but you need to understand that to learn you have to keep an open mind. Shame on the owners.
My name is not Andrew, and I’ve only had complaints of what a good idea using a cooler. They keep things much hotter for longer than a delivery bad. Also delivery bag. The delivery bags hold too muck moisture, making the packaging damp and gross where a cooler you can add something to help absorb the moisture and at the same time help keep the food warm. Also, as I told you, the system I have set up in my carrot pizza cannot be removed from the car. I’ve delivered pizza picked up 15 highway delivered all the way to Collins Bay area and the customer was surprised on how hot the pizza was and pizza box dry with the distance it was delivered from. Read moreThis place does not even deserve one star. Horrible. To start, the delivery driver handed us an order reciept with the amount crossed out and an extra dollar added. I refused to pay it as that was not the total I had email confirmation of. He said it was an added delivery charge, on top of the one I already paid. I didn't pay it.
Then when I opened the pizza box it was the wrong order. I called the store and the customer service line and they would not do anything! Offered to send me another order but I would have to give the one I had back and I would have to pay the difference, when I had already paid and my online oder was correct. I can't believe it!
