My friend and I recently visited a buffet, and overall, it was a delightful experience. If you’re Muslim, I recommend skipping the chicken and beef options, as they are not halal. Instead, focus on the seafood selections, which were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the fried items, although I suggest trying them last, as they can be quite filling. The highlight of my meal was the variety of seafood, including oysters and squid, both of which were flavorful and prepared well. The pie and tempura dishes were standout choices, with a perfect balance of texture and taste. Also don’t try their soup if you have a desi taste bud. For dessert, I highly recommend the banana fry paired with your favorite ice cream—it was a delightful end to the meal. Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was quick and efficient, ensuring a smooth dining experience. For less than $40, the all-you-can-eat seafood buffet offers incredible value, especially considering the quality of the food. The Pad Thai noodles were also a pleasant surprise, seasoned and flavored just right. Overall, it’s a great option for seafood lovers looking for an affordable and satisfying meal.

Needed to actually stop and enjoy a good sushi lunch with a chum and settled on a first time visit (for me), to Sakura. Loved the atmosphere and style of the restaurant. Although it was after 1:00 PM early in the week the place was very busy and staff were hustling to bring plates of all you can eat sushi to the tables. I have a preference for vegetarian sushi with the exception of the dynamite shrimp and General Tsao Chicken bites. We started out with Calamari Tempura. Nice and crispy coating, albeit a bit chewy but still delish. This was accompanied by a steaming hot bowl of won ton soup, also quite filling! All this followed by a steady stream of dynamite shrimp rolls, sweet potato and avocado rolls with spicy sauce drizzle, General Tsao chicken bits with lots of 'bite', and yam tempura. Couldn't face dessert after that but took one for the team after being offered mango ice cream. Who could resist?! The all you can eat buffet is $28 / person plus tax and tip. We had a pot of green tea. Averaged just over $35 for each of us and worth every cent. Can't wait for my next visit!

We have been going here for years! We have always loved the food. Yes the experience is more order, eat, enjoy and leave lol We have been here 20+ times, so we know the drill... You may not get spoken too but at least you are focused on the people you are dining with 🤷♀️ Our recent visit reconfirmed our love for Sakura. Finally new, clean bathrooms!! The ordering system is excellent...no more waiting for a server to check on your paper order. Tablet system is excellent and can check up on what you actually ordered with images of all of the food options is key! We actually had a server who smiled when he seated us and spoke to us. They seem to finally put some work into the building which has it looking nice and clean overall. We left there again feeling like it was our first time going there again. It would be nice to see more customer service interaction, even just a smile...especially from their senior/main servers. Though for us, we are there for the food more than the customer service at this point!😆 Still a 5 star from us. Good price for fresh ready order all you can eat!

One of the few ayce in Kingston. Price for dinner was $23.00. Same price weekdays and weekends! Service was bad, they barely talk and it's one of those places that forgets your order and you'll have to argue again. For instance, I ordered tobiko twice and it never came. The food: all the rolls are jammed packed with rice. If you order rolls, order a side of sashimi, as even the fish in the rolls are limited. The salmon on a red dragon is super thin. The only good thing when I went was that the sashimi was thickly sliced. The cook food is crap. Their Ramen or udon is crap. The soup base they used is sesame oil. I wouldn't go unless you just want to binge eat. Kingston has a lot of great places downtown like Sima, Choi's roll etc.

The food, service, and experience were subpar. The fish didn’t taste very fresh and the quality of food wasn’t the best. The beef and steak had an odd texture. Some of our orders were missing and we inquired with a server. However, they never came back to use and the orders never came. It was a disappointing experience overall, would go elsewhere for better sushi and service.
