Foxy Roxy At Maymo's Fry — Restaurant in Ontario

The people are fantastic, friendly and professional. The stand always looks dirty and in need of a scrub down, everything from the debit system to the condiment containers. The walls just look dirty from years of dust and grease build up. Water is priced super cheap, pop prices are reasonable. Food prices, I get that they are just trying to make a living but it isn't cheap. $7 for a small fry, $17 for a piece of fish and some fries on Friday. The portions aren't grand enough to justify the prices. I know that food prices are high everywhere and it is definitely passed onto the consumer here. Sadly, the unhoused population spend a great amount of time in the area making it difficult to feel safe to go there, if you wanted to go knowing the conditions you'll be facing to order food. Absolutely the best hamburger I have had since before the pandemic. Real hamburger, not frozen, patties grilled to perfection. Fresh buns, not your average Wonder bread bun, fresh lettuce onion tomato and pickles! For $7.00!!! And they are HUGE! The fries are awesness too. Fresh cut fries cooked in fresh oil. I highly recommend trying the chilli cheese fries or a poutine, my two personal favorites (if forced I'd say the chilli cheese fries are my #1 favorite). What can I say? Roxanne is the most amazing, caring woman whom I've seen countless times help out the homeless, she is not judgemental, she treats everyone the same, she's become a real staple in the community, I know everyone definetly missed her when she closed up for the winter, everyone who works there are just awesome people, and not to mention her food is AMAZING!! Especially her fish-n-chips on Friday!! My fave! Its all made from scratch, and she has something new on the menu everyday (her specials) and its just the best place to eat!!
