Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Ontario

Yesterday around 4:30pm on Dec 5/2017 I stopped in to grab a quick combo on my way home and was faced with a very cold welcome by the worker at the resister. She not only made me feel like I was wasting her time but that she just wanted the day to be over. I ordered a Hawaiian slice of pizza, onion rings and a drink as my combo. She placed the slice in the oven and went on to retrieve onion rings from the fridge/freezer. She opened the fridge/freezer and the door was facing me but I guess she forgot that when the door opens due to the fridge door hinges it exposes a small space where you can see through. That’s when I seen her WITHOUT GLOVES grab a handful of onion rings out of a plastic bag with her BARE HANDS and proceed to place them into the fryer. I asked her “Did you really just touch my food with bare hands?!”. She lied and said no. I said “You just came from there and I don’t see plastic gloves on your hands”. She was stuttering but still denied it. I then told her I’m not blind and that she didn’t account for me being able to see due to the crack between the fridge body and door. I asked if this was a normal food prep step at this location, “not wearing gloves when touching food you’re going to serve”. She dropped the act and said, and I quote, “Yes.”, “We don’t use gloves”. I said well that’s disgusting. You touch the cash register, cash and who knows what else and then peoples food? That’s disgusting! I told her I wasn’t eating there and walked out...

No longer a disgusting place!

Attended this particular Pizza Pizza June 16, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. Placed a chicken wing order topped off with a Texas BBQ sauce. I was severed in a prompt and timely manner by a very attentive young man managing front counter duties. Very friendly! I was told it would take several minutes to prepare my order and that exactly how long it took. Thank you!

I noticed the single slice pizzas were freshly prepared and did not look gross or dried out. Nice!

The chicken wings were "okay" but maybe a bit too generous with the BBQ sauce. Received a free can of Coke!

Restaurant was clean and tidy and all Covid 19 protocols followed.

A good three star experience. Bravo!

Bonnie A disgusting place! Received no service after my arrived. (May 20th 2021 7:30 pm). Waited several minutes before I left. It's a good thing that I did leave because all I wanted was a single Slice Pizza. Upon looking at the single slices it was noted these pizzas were all dried out and overcooked, like they had have been left out for several hours. Too many vagrants and panhandlers hanging about the the restaurant. Did not feel safe. Often when I am served, staff are indifferent. I ended up going to Subway next door.
