Really bad experience I had, security guy acted so rude, he argued about my friends id so we provided 2, he allowed us to get in. As soon as we had the first drink, he wanted us to go out, he promised to pay us for the ticket we payed. As soon as we went out he acted all opposite. He denied the refund, we wanted to talk to the manager, he didn’t allow us to do that. Pushed us for no reason. We had to face racial discrimination. Felt so bad. Even the guy who don’t drink was pushed out. Am attaching the photo below. I have a video of us asking for the pay and to talk to the manager, really bad experience. Never had a issues before, been there a couple of time.

There’s a new underground section they’ve added to the right side where people can go in for free On Dollar bear days (Monday & Wednesday) . However if you wish to go upstairs from the underground section, you will have to pay 15-22$ depending on how crowded it is. There’s often more crowd on dollar bears than weekends. But lines are very long and it take around 45-60 min to enter. If you go through the front door and pay 5$, you may go to the top floor, ground floor and underground freely. The place does get very crowded and it is very hard to move around. Drinks are often spilled all over the floor.

I had the absolute worst experience at Jack's in London, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The establishment was filthy—sticky floors, uncleaned tables, and an overall unpleasant atmosphere. To make matters worse, the staff were unbelievably rude, with the bouncers being the main offenders. BEWARE- One bouncer in particular was blatantly homophobic and discriminatory. He refused entry to men wearing fanny packs, which is ridiculous in itself, and when I started recording this behavior, he aggressively kicked me out. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in 2024.

Breath taking experience. My friends and I went for a chill night out at Jack’s on May 10. We were sitting and having drinks when, out of nowhere, I suddenly couldn’t breathe. I have asthma and my throat closed immediately. My boyfriend tried to rush me out of the building but I started puking from the exposure. I ran to the bathroom which were filled with girls crying, puking, and trying to rinse their eyes and skin.

The staff completely disappeared during the whole incident. The bouncers had left the inside and were just standing at the door. No one evacuated the space or checked if anyone needed help.

While walking down the stairs to leave as I was disoriented and trying to breathe, one of the bouncers snatched my beer and said, “This isn’t Vegas.” I told him I have asthma and that I couldn’t breathe from the mace.

His response? “Didn’t happen inside the building so it’s not our responsibility.” He claimed that the pepper spray had “blown in from outside” 😂 People outside were saying it happened inside. You don’t get mass exposure like that from it wafting in.

For the record, Jack’s has a legal obligation under the Occupiers’ Liability Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. O.2, to ensure the safety of everyone on their property. That includes responding to emergencies and hazardous incidents, especially in a packed, enclosed space.

Their complete lack of response also violates public health standards under the Ontario Public Health Standards (OPHS) and the Health Protection and Promotion Act. Pepper spray in an indoor venue is a serious health risk, especially for people with respiratory conditions.

I’ve heard many stories that this isn’t the first time the bouncers here have been unprofessional, but it should be the last time they’re allowed to leave customers to fend for themselves during a health emergency. I will be filing formal complaints and encourage anyone else who was affected to...

Before I start, I realize this is a "student bar" (so expectations are not that high to begin with)...however, I feel this place has really gone down hill.

The food used to be much better here. I ask for "extra sauce" on my wings and they come out bare! Its like the first coating of sauce isn't even on there! Pretty disappointing. (and then they try to charge extra for!...haha...Nice try!) The last 3 times we visited they have messed up our drinks. (We ask for a double and we get a single. We ask for a single and get a triple!!) There is NO consistency anymore with their food and drink.

The wait staff take FOREVER to come serve you (usually because they are too buys flirting with other patrons to be bothered.)

Sitting near the front windows, all you smell is cigarette smoke and bus exhaust.

This USED to be a favour place of ours (for cheap, good eats) but our visits anymore leave us disappointed with the entire experience. Definitely not worth the trek downtown! We are so happy that a new restaurant has opened in our neighborhood (their wings are WAY better!)

Based on the constant disappointment with their food and service, we will no longer be supporting this...

Oh the good Old Jack's. This time I didn't go to Jack's I went next door to the Cannabis place! But Google maps asked me about Jack's. Well I use to go to Jack's in my good old young days LOL But Jack's was never my place. Only I believe it was as Wednesday nights they had $2 drinks. And those nights if you you didn't know the door crew to get in without waiting in line. Then you better stay home. Cuz they will keep you waiting for HOURS! And actually another thing I didn't really like was the staff there. They were DEFINITELY NOT ppl person. Besides I think one or two waitresses and I think just one door bouncer was ok nice. But the rest thought they were working at a White house bar or something. Attitudes to the roof! And not trying to be rude here, but they weren't really that good looking in first place. They probably got hit on like crazy there. Because the customers were most 19-20year old first year in college or university. London bars are ok summer time , but other wise Im more of a Toronto bar person or Vancouver!! But if you like young young girls or boys. If ur a female or male cougar then Jack's is still the place to...
