Edited as of July 26/2024. Have spoken with the supervisor and manager and they have resolved the issues from our visit and issues afterwards that we had.

The Management team of this facility is truly amazing. You can tell they care and strive for customer service excellency.

When we are back in Cornwall we will be stopping by here again solely based on the management team.

I see lots of 5 stars here but I must say I can only give it 1. We got there at approx. 7pm on Tuesday July 23/2024.

Front desk girl was awesome and sat us right away.

Our waitress, won't say names but on our receipt says #42, came over and took our drink order. 2 waters, one orange crush and a white milk.

She delivered the drinks and took our food order. Food came out recently fast but this is where it went wrong.

We got our meals, usually a waiter/waitress comes back within 5 to 10 minutes and checks in. Well she never came back. Approx 30 minutes go by and still nothing. At this point I am done my meal and my water. No refill, doesn't comeback to take a plate away nothing. Now my wife is done and we still haven't seen her. Now our children are done and still haven't seen her back at our table but she was able to go to the table directly behind us about 4 or 5 times.

So now we wait and wait and wait for a bill and still nothing. So I had to ask another waitress, didn't get her name but I must say, she never stopped working the entire time we were there. She earns every dollar and every tip unlike waitress 42 that "served" us. So I ask her if we can get the bill as we had a 2 plus hour drive home. As we she is bringing us the debit machine etc, all if a sudden number #42 arrives. I still tipped her because times are tough etc but I must say in all my travels, she is in on my top 3 least courteous servers I have ever had.

The food was great. Tasty, hot and filling. Service from 42 sucked.

We all have bad days but in the customer service industry you have to put on a happy face or take the day off if you're not mentally going...

We went two times at this location. I had the fajitas for one the first time, my partner had a burger. They forgot a few things off his burger, and we had to ask about it for them to bring it separately, after he was done. The fajitas were great. There was enough for two meals for me.

The second time, we decided to get the fajitas for two. The description indicates "twice the meat" and more toppings. When we received our order, it didn't look like "twice the meat" (should have taken a picture, but we were too hungry). There was a fair amount of veggies, but it was hard to gauge the volume of food with the rice under it. My partner asked if there was a mistake, or if that was the order for two. We were told that it was the order for two. There were 6 shrimps and 13 pieces of beef. After we pointed it out to our server, she brought us another plate of meat, the amount we were expecting to receive initially.

I understand that mistake happens, but twice in two visits indicates there's something more systemic going on. If I didn't have the individual fajitas previously, we would have believed that it was the expected amount, and not insisted.

Despite the issues with the orders, the food is good, and the servers...

We wanted to see if the reviews really held up and were ‘up to par’

So… Took over 20 minutes for a server to come to our table although we were visibly ready to order … the wait staff was seemingly oblivious that we were there … yes there were a few large groups that were leaving … but we did feel the avoidance

The food was ‘ok’ and I will say that the portion of chicken of the chicken parm is abundant… however, the spaghetti in the Alfredo sauce was swimming in pasta water and milk … or of the sort … Alfredo is or should be creamy … not watery … in my opinion… my partner’s schnitzel was dry and if not of the little bit of mushroom (no where near what was on the menu) … without seasoning…

Finally … the ‘suggested’ gratuity is not for example 15% on the subtotal of the check but on the total … this may be a pet peeve of mine but still , in my opinion, unethical for a food establishment to program it this way…

Would I return?! … from the reviews I perhaps expected more but I think that it would have to be exceptional food or offer to consider …
