Let's get this review straight to the point.... Don't go to this location!!! It started out fine, we got to order from the kiosk and not one of the employees. After that it took a quick dive! We got our order without our drinks. I went back up to the counter to get them. I had to all but yell to get their attention. They were standing around talking loudly with no regard to anything going on in the store. Once I got the cups I headed over to the drink station... it was covered in spilled pop. I went back to the table only to be told by my wife that they had forgotten her fries! So now I have to go through the whole ordeal of getting the staffs attention again. The best part of this interaction was I was made to feel that I was bothering them by asking for what I had ordered. I sat down to try to enjoy our meal. I Get a couple bites in only to realize that they hadn't put any napkins in the bag. To make an extremely frustrating experience even worse, when I went to ask for some I was told to hold on and she just disappeared behind a wall. The icing on the cake was after all of this my wife went to use the bathroom and she told me the toilet seat was as disgusting as the drink station. Read moreI've been here a bunch since the renovations. Long story short: this is a decent franchise with the quality of food you'd expect at a typical KFC, but their slow handling of orders is annoying.
I've never eaten inside but it looks nice and clean. It's pretty tiny so I imagine it would fill up quick. That said, I've never seen more than a handful of people inside. So seating, while cramped, will probably not be an issue otherwise.
The fact that they're seemingly never very busy makes the slow service a bit baffling. I've been in line at the nearby Subway with five or six people ahead of me and still gotten food faster than I have at this KFC when it's dead empty. "Waiting on fresh fries," as an excuse buys you maaaybe 3-4 minutes. After that, I have to wonder what sort of faulty deep fryer is being used to cook my food.
Anyway, there seems to be plenty of staff, so that tells me the management here is complacent about upholding standards and lax in training the employees. The complete lack of urgency to actually live up to the first word in "fast food" knocks this place...
Read moreOk to start I drove up to the drive through to order a simple 2 piece chicken meal with a small gravy and a poutine and the communication through the intercom was difficult, then drove up to the pick up window to find the employee standing there taking on there cell phone ignoring me while i waited with my window down in a snow storm trying to pay for my meal after a couple minutes she opened window and I payed and asked employee if she could put lots of salt pepper and vinegar in the bag she said yes and goes to get the food and about 5 minutes later she comes out opens window while looking the other way tries to hand me the ripped bag and and almost drops it and shut the window and walks away when got home and look in bag no gravy no salt no pepper no vinegar and no receipt for $20.18 I expected to get what I payed for it wasn’t a complicated order...
