Happy to attend Kinton's opening day this past Saturday. Great introductory 50% off special. Hope they continue to offer some promotions from time to time. We often pop through to Windsor to visit the casino, which has absolutely zero Asian food choices, so we are delighted to see Ramen in Windsor to complement our usual Cantonese and Pho options. Brand new sleek building with tons of parking, and we also love it neighbors Giant Tiger as another destination for us. We opted for the beef spicy garlic and the original chicken ramen. The poached eggs were spot on, and the soup broth was flavourful and not overly salty. The garlic spicy broth is strong and leaves a lasting warm sensation in your mouth and lingering garlic taste. We actually added noodles from the original chicken into the garlic broth and found that was an optimum combination of flavor and spice. Portions are medium, and when coupled with an appetizer or two, it will be a satiating meal without feeling bloated by consuming all the broth. We rounded the meal out with some perfectly light, pan-fried goyoza served with a delightfully tangy dipping sauce and some light, tasty takoyaki. Prices are mid range $$$, and they offer some seasonal specials and combination meal deals for single or group dining. Atmosphere is modern, loud and raucous, definitely a younger more hip vibe. Lots of couple seating and countertop dining reminiscent of Asian restaurant seating maximizing space. Tables can be paired up for larger groups. However, there is very much a cozy proximity to other diners. Service and delivery were quick considering the outside lines for the opening specials and maybe a learning curve that servers lost track of who had ordered after being asked by three different servers if we had ordered. Would like to see the oversized menus in a holder suspended on the sides of the table as the tables are quite small when adding a couple of drinks, two ramens, and two plates of appetizers. Also a necessity for why all servers should be jumping in clearing completed appetizer plates quicker as they pass by which was missed. Nice touch if maintained, in greeting patrons on arrival and departure. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience, and we will be repeat customers and have already encouraged our friends to visit. Recommended.

Had an amazing time at Kinton Ramen Windsor! The first thing you notice is the sleek and modern exterior, but once inside, it's super cozy and welcoming. The service was also fantastic—super friendly, and quick! Over the few times I've visited, I had the Golden Sesame Ramen and Pork Original Ramen—both of which was packed with flavor. The broth was rich but not too heavy, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The toppings, especially the poached eggs, were on point. I also tried the Chicken Karaage, which was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sauce it came with gave it a nice sweet and spicy kick, and it was the perfect side dish to pair with the ramen. Lastly, the Pork Gyoza were also a great addition. They were crispy and tender, with just the right amount of filling and a light sauce that complemented them without overpowering the flavors. Overall, Kinton Ramen has nailed the balance between modern vibes and comforting food. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Windsor and craving ramen!

The egg is love. The egg is life. The moment that perfect, golden, gooey center first touched my tongue, was the day I became a woman. The perfect melding of umami-filled soy sauce and hearty, jelly-like yolk harmonized to bless my mouth with a chorus rivaling even the most esteemed of angels to exist in the great beyond. And yet, ironically, I felt myself reach the perfect ninth circle of hell at that very same moment, a single sardonically sinful indulgence away from being led on the path of temptation. I will likely never recover from this fateful day. My fate has forever been altered, my destination in this world veering off its self-defined path to orbit around my new star: The egg.

2nd round here at this place on Wed night. They do appear to have amended the broth issue i had in this initial review. The miso broth was creamy and flavourful. That previously light and thin broth was the longest lasting impression from last time. I am glad that was fixed. The service is a lot better today, 2 people working in tandem taking orders and getting food out. Efficient and attentive. It's a bit funny when asked if i need anything twice in a row. I will say though, drinks are kind of sparse. I got the wrong impression of the drink being a fountain drink. It is from a can, you can hear them crack open cans from behind the bar. Water refills are kind of sparse. I guess they think the broth will hydrate you, but that is not the case. There's a good amount of salt in the broth to be tasty in a miso broth, but it is still fairly thirst provoking when i shovel half the bowl in my mouth. It's something to be cognitive of when having the meal, and to take the meal slower, or ask for a pitcher if you drink lots.

Probably the biggest gripe though that docks the 2 stars from service is being shoved the bill and processed barely 5 minutes after i finished my drink. Usually i would flag down or walk up to pay the bill, or in a lot of places in Michigan, I am given the bill and told i can pay at my leisure. None of that was mentioned here, just "here's your bill, will you be paying with card?" Definitely the worst way to end a good experience.

Original review: Went here on a Sunday night with my family, and the place was busy where the tables were filled, but there was no wait time. The place is modern, warm feeling.

Service I'll have to say is quite terrible. They don't have enough menus for every single table. I happen to be lucky enough to get a table without a menu. They're short staffed with only 2 wait staff (1 had disappeared until later in the meal), and their memory is less than stellar. I had enough time to look at the special feature at least 4 times over, have a conversation with my family, and then we sat there waiting... and waiting ... and I had a stare down with one of the staff members behind the bar before someone attended to us and gave us a menu. We finally got to order, she got our drinks, and went to the wrong table, IN UNDER A MINUTE FROM OUR ORDERING. That's what I call record breaking on forgetfulness. Please get more staff, and train them better.

The food is okay. The Miso is light, but it still had flavour. I prefer mine's to be heavier like other ramen places in this city. So you might call it diluted, you might call it perfect. The standard toppings in Kinton are a lot less than other places. This is quite the downer, because you'll be paying extras over $20 a bowl for what is otherwise standard at other places. The only exception to this is their special, but then you're getting ground pork vs their much better meat and vegetable options like a whole chicken breast sliced thick, or nice slices of beef roast. So you're basically stuck weighing opportunity costs for the basic $18 price, or pay more if you want more.

The noodles are great, and the portions are pretty perfect for being satisfying, if not a bit extra on the noodles. I highly suggest getting the thick noodles. They're not actually thick, but their density is much higher than their standard thin noodle to give you a nice bite into them.

On what is probably accidental bad luck. there was a floating black spot in my water. I first thought it was a bug, but after looking at it more in the light, it looks more like a piece of fabric that fell into my water cup. I took a spare cup of water from my mother who wasn't drinking it (she had a pop), and I drank that which was clean. But that wasn't a welcome surprise to the experience.

The noodles are good, the broth is satisfying, the meats are good, and the toppings are BASIC (if not less than that). The service leaves a lot to be desired, but it's not anything that can't be fixed. I'll probably try again later to see if...

Myself and my boyfriend love ramen, so we both decided to try this spot for a change - especially since it's so close to home.

First of all, the atmosphere is great - and staff are quick to greet you! They let us choose where to sit - and when we went to sit by the corner window booth - she warned us it might get hot with the setting sun, so we adjusted to some seats in the middle.

The seating is cute - but for someone with some spinal issues - my back started hurting after half an hour, especially with no back support. More cute over function.

We ended up getting ramen for 2, myself getting the Pork Shoyu, my boyfriend the chicken miso, and we shared the vegetable gyoza. Our appitizer was at our table 5 minutes after ordering - and they were great! The only issue I had was I have an upper denture, and biting into them was a bit on the tough side. I would have a watch with those if you happen to have false teeth of any kind. Flavor was great though!

Next the ramen. I didn't have a chance to try the chicken, but with the pork - I made sure to get another serving of noodles. My choice of noodles was thick cut. All in all - noodle portion was great. Highly recommend the addition - it was the perfect amount of food. However, I am a bit saddened with the lack of vegetable toppings, and the protien portion was small. 2 thin slices of pork isn't much in comparison, even if I went with the original noodle portion.

The broth was flavorful, and wasnt salted to my liking - however I know everyone enjoys salt differently. That's more of a personal thing. All in all though - for what I did have, It was delicious. There are some things I wish I could have changed, but all in all a great spot for a filling meal.

Final note, our waitress and all the others who assisted with our table - they where fantastic. Always checking in - making sure we were all good and if we needed anything. Truly a highlight of this location!

All in all - I would be happy to give a...
