Kurry Houzz & Grill — Restaurant in Ontario

My son and I have been trying out all the different restaurants recently that appear on Doordash. My son made sure we waited to have lunch today because the Kurry Houzz doesn't open until 1pm. We spent time reviewing our order for three people plus a few extras in case others in the house wanted to try some things (6 person house hold) and placed the order. Then he receives a message, after payment was taken, advising that his order had been cancelled. He calls the restaurant and they advise that their cook will not be in until 2pm. They also advised that even though they take payment automatically, he will need to wait 5 business days to receive his money back. This is ridiculous. The money should be returned automatically and Doordash (who returned my son's money right away) should have been notified that orders cannot be processed until 2pm. I called the restaurant to complain at which time I was advised that the only person in restaurant was the person I was speaking to and she could not take my complaint but she would have the owner call me back. When he did call me back (1 hour later) he spent the entire time cutting me off and yelling at me! I cannot believe how unprofessional he was. Nothing was his fault, the person who answered the phone was not an employee and he shouldn't have to take my complaints. Hey everyone who is reading this review right now please pay attention because I went to this restaurant and experienced some crazy things. Firstly I wanna talk about that girl with short hair and cute smile oh my god she was so nice, the way she was talking to the people was appreciative, was very kind to everyone I was noticing her all time she was going from table to table to serve everyone and ask them if I need anything she did best at making customers more comfortable in her atmosphere hats of to you miss if you read this comment please do share your name with me because I will must visit the restaurant to enjoy your service 😁. However there was a lady I don’t know at what position she was but the way she was treating the customers was not at all good, not even a single smile how come she can do like this we go there to enjoy food and after seeing her exhausted face sorry not enjoying. Find some way to make her happy so she doesn’t spoil our mood but thank god they have employees like that miss who didn’t let that happen and we enjoyed our food and of course I will say food was really good nicely cooked good customer service (exceptional case that lady filled with frustration) highly recommended.
