With regret, I have to say this was one of the worst Indian Dining Experiences I have ever experienced. I have worked in award winning Indian Restaurants in the United Kingdom for 5 years, I have eaten & cooked Indian Food in India, Europe and North America.
The reasons of my poor experience are listed are below;
The Dishes we ordered;
The Goat Tikka Masala; was mostly Bone & Cartilage, where the butcher gives the cheapest cuts of goat meat, mostly Bone. The dish was luke warm, and may have been cooked the day before. I could taste this. 90% of the dish was bone and Cartilage. This is such a shame, because the Flavour was good and correct with the spices, but they ruined it.
Their Galric Naan was very good.
The Tandoori Chicken was on a Sizzler, but it was clearly at least 2-3 days old. And Overcooked to chewy rubber.
The Vegetable rice was greasy and drenched in oil. It was not pleasant.
What was even worse than the food, was the service. The Young Man had a look on his face like he hates the job. No smiles. Not welcoming at all. Poor attitude for the job.
The main course came out before the starter. The drinks I asked for, did not come until after the mains were served. The service was served in the wrong order.
The restaurant was not even busy, yet so many mistakes.
The service was so Amateur.
What hurts is that I have served in an Award Winning Indian Restaurant and I know what good service should consist of.
And the Price was $84 for x2 people for Garbage food and Garbage Service.
I just knew it's not even worth bringing to the attention to the waiter or the manager, as the waiter did not look like his mind was in the job.
These guys have alot to learn about food and customer service.
I am very sad to write such a negative review, but sadly, this was the reality of my...
Read moreIt is a great pleasure to write this note. I strongly believe we can see God by servicing and In serving a good meals. We have celebrated Diwali function with 17 families and our team had ordered Diwali -2022 food in Lemon Grill and everyone liked it . I got opportunity to taste LG Food with Team as part of Tamil school teachers family lunch on 14th Feb. Many time, we have tasted LG food as part of our friend's kids birthday function. We again celebrated Tamil new year on 29th April with 60+ families. Organizing committee come with budget to execute the all expenses ( Hall, decoration, Food etc) within the budget. We tried many food service providers and choose Lemon Grill .To satisfy everyone, Many times menu option changed. Every single time we almost discussed 15-30 mins with LG about our menu, changes and fit within the budget. They happily agreed and adjusted our request with Smile. We definitely took their valuable time (3 hrs Min overall) ! The owners always told “ Sir we want to help you , our chefs are asking me to get this order Anna to help our community “ so they adjusted reducing cost to make us(64 families and 4 food committees) Happy and satisfy chefs desire in helping community event. The food was awesome 👏 and Everyone liked and appreciated . Food committee is able to give best food to everyone within given budget. Finally we asked them we can use your hotel name in banners for your publicity ! The owner Suresh said , No Sir, we are helping and part of servicing to this Event. Don’t want publicity for business. While we have serving/servicing thought within us , The result will be good which we have seen in the food. I/our families strongly support to choose Lemon Grill for any party order and Family lunch/Dinner! God Bless...
Read moreGreat food and prices, but portions are on the smaller side. Update... my family and I were regulars here before the covid shutdown. Today we called ahead to see if it was open for in dining for my wife's birthday. We have always enjoyed dining here. NOT TODAY...very, very disappointed. We ordered our food and were served in cheap plastic cups resembling yogurt containers and given small plastic utensils that would not even pick up the vegetables in our soup. Our soup was very vinegary and had NO meat at all and only a few uncooked vegetables. The hot and sour soup is one of the main reasons for our coming here. The wairess gave us cheap paper plates when the rest of our food arrived. No... I was done !!! I asked very politely for our food to go and I got up to pay my bill at the counter. As regulars, our bill is usually between $60-65 every time. Today I was asked to pay $91 and the waitress did not give me a receipt after payment. I had to ask twice for my detailed receipt. We walked outside and I threw the food into the garbage. I took my family to Kelseys where we had a wonderful meal on proper plates with proper utensils. I am very disappointed that we may have lost one of our favorite restaurants !!! That we by the way, have been recommending to friends and family since Lee's opened !!! I will edit my post, if we every try eating there again. Right now, I feel like I have lost an...
