Small store tucked away at the end of a Devonshire Mall hallway, with a limited selection to match. I came here looking to spend $$$ on a new laptop and scanner-printer. Although I'm perfectly aware that the technology is being phased out, I wanted a laptop with an onboard optical drive (i.e. CD-DVD drive), because I still have a lot of past work stored on CDs, music CDs, and movie/TV show DVDs. I was pointed to their one lone model in stock that had an onboard optical drive, and alternatively was shown their one lone external optical drive model, should I chose to go with a laptop that did not have onboard optical drive. Had that been the end of it, I would have just been moderately dissatisfied; however, I left the store very dissatisfied because the clerk offered his opinion that optical drives were "old technology." I'm giving this review 2 stars because a sales clerk did technically try to do his job and help me (in contrast to Staples, where I was completely ignored). While the salesperson was not technically wrong about the state of the technology, strictly speaking, I feel there are two important lessons here:

1. I still have floppy disks in storage somewhere. I don't expect I'll be using them anytime soon, but don't tell me that optical discs are "old." CDs and DVDs are still being manufactured and are available for purchase everywhere. If the products are still available, then clearly the technology is not old. By all means, feel free to educate me as to why optical drives are being phased out of newer laptops -- but don't flippantly dismiss me.
2. The customer is always right. Until the day that onboard optical drives have been 100% discontinued from all currently-manufactured laptops, then don't patronize me, and just tell me straight-up whether or not you actually have what I'm looking for....

Very poor customer service, smiling or greeting the customers doesn’t cost anything. Reps are really very rude and unprofessional. I brought a phone with bell connection, the rep who was finalizing my account activated 2 SIM card and gave the wrong SIM card. That’s why I couldn’t able to use my old number for 3 days. I had to call Bell Canada several times and wait in the line for hours then they said the person who activated the line messed up, and when I called the store that guy was off and I had go to the mall 2 times to solve my issue. Feels like when they sell the product they know everything, and the moment you are done with payment their respond becomes deal with the carrier. And even that wasn’t only incident, last month I ordered Apple AirTag for curb side pick up, when I went to store, even though it says curb side pick up I was asked to go to the store to collect my parcel, and that guy who delivered my product was very unprofessional was very impolite. My friend and I went to The Source at Devonshire Mall to check out the i-phones for my friend. Jordan found her just the right phone and helped move all her old phone contacts etc. to her new iphone. Jordan is so personable and friendly and while we were waiting, he explained the Bell TV and Virgin Mobile TV to both of us and gave me detailed information so that I could understand the differences and before I knew it ... I now have TV service being installed shortly with all of my favourite channels and a PVR to boot ! I am so excited because my Free to Air has been sporadic lately so this was perfect timing. Jordan and his team members all were very knowledgeable in their products and work closely as a team to answer all the questions I had...and there were a lot of questions ! We will be going back to The Source for more services and products as the service was second to none !
