Awful. Just awful. We ordered chicken fried rice and it was white rice mixed with brown rice and maybe 5 small pieces of chicken. No green onions or bean sprouts. It was stale and awful, and looked literally like leftovers. We ordered Kung pow chicken and got something totally different, and she even rang it up different. When I picked it up, I noticed the discrepancy and asked her about it and she said it was Kung pow chicken. It had peanuts in it and was most definitely not what I ordered. Yet 3 weeks ago I ordered the same thing, and got what it's supposed to be. The won ton soup didn't even 1 piece of meat in it. The chicken soo gai was soggy in the middle and grossly undercooked. I'm glad we spent $45 on crap that we threw 75% in the garbage. When we ordered a few weeks ago on a Saturday night, it was actually really good. If they can't be consistant and try to pass of garbage as food, then we won't be ordering from there again. It's too bad because there are no good Chinese places in Riverside. Lone fone is amazing and always the same great quality, but it's too far to drive from Riverside. I guess we will have to, in order to get good food. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Total garbage and employees that aren't very friendly. There were 4 girls sitting behind the counter on their phones chatting and not worrying about anything else. It's obvious that it all depends on who's working and cooking that will determine the type and quality of food you get. Too risky for us! Oh and we both also felt really sick after! Tonight I ordered the combination plate, #7. I got the Sweet & Sour Chicken + Beef and Veggies + 2 Egg Rolls & a can of Soda, it cost me $29. $29 for 4 Chicken Balls, the chicken inside was smaller than a quarter. It was ALL batter. The Beef & Veggies was the best thing about the meal but the portion was very SMALL. The egg rolls were so tough that I couldn’t even chew it. I could tell that they probably sat out all day long under a heat lamp. They were impossible to chew. It took the restaurant exactly 21 minutes to get my food here which I was initially very impressed and happy about until i sat down to eat. They were so quick because the food was already ready and sitting out all day, all they had to do was pack and deliver it. For $29 you would think businesses would want to please their customers in these very difficult economic times so they keep coming back, NOT SO WITH THIS ORDER. I’m so disappointed. I would have been better off to spend $10 at the grocery store on a frozen pizza, at least you know what you’re getting and they’re consistent. I’m leaving a note in my phone because I have them in my contacts to remind myself never to order from them again. This saddens me because this restaurant use to be a favourite of my families. We use to order from them all the time. Sadly the last 3X has been consistently bad. You could at least make sure the food is edible, those egg rolls were unchewable. It was our first time ordering from this restaurant as we haven’t gone since Covid. I highly advise everyone to avoid this restaurant as they changed ownership which is why the food is no longer good. The egg rolls were dripping in oil and everything was salty.

That wasn’t even the worst part. We found a PIECE OF GLASS in our minced chicken. I immediately called the restaurant to inform them of this and they did not take ownership at all. They questioned where it came from and had me send a picture to them. I ensured them it came from the food as my sister bit into something hard and spat it out revealing a piece of glass. My sister immediately cleaned it off to show us. Due to the fact it was cleaned, the owner had their doubts and insisted they had no idea where it came from. They even tried telling me it was plastic, but there SHOULD NOT be any plastic or glass in food. They are lucky my sister didn’t eat it and choke. Instead of giving me a refund, they want me to get it through Uber or offered store credit. They really expected another meal to make up for this dire mistake.
