Overall at all McDonald's prices keep going up... now charging for extra sauce on a burger and or extra sauce on the side... or the value menu that makes no sense??... like why does a double burger with no cheese but with bacon cost MORE than a double cheese burger with bacon?? Like almost a dollar more... or how is a double hamburger "like a mac" add 1 piece of bacon cost nearly 5 dollars????!!!!! I could get a regular bigmac for that... as for this particular location it's often messy... condiments straws and napkins often under stocked and more often than not they bugger up your order... especially through drive-thru... the play place is usually a disaster that seems to be cleaned only once per day (around 9pm after they close it down for the night) and that being said they only wipe down the tables empty the trash mop the floor and give the bathroom a quick (emphasis on quick) once over... what about the play place itself??? I mean you've had smelly slimy boogery drueling bathroom accident prone children playing in it all day long shouldn't the play structure our children beg us to play in be among the top priorities for cleanliness? Even when my daughter has come out of the play place telling me another kid wet themself inside it and noticeably has a wet spot where she stepped or sat in said wetness and i complain to a manager it takes them far too long to send someone in to clean it....and even then they only spot clean the noticeably affected area...
Personally I don't really like McDonald's food... they are way over priced their food is bland at best they are (even more so now) very stingey with their toppings they up charge you on everything... it's a very noisy and usually unkept environment and dealing with staff is like pulling teeth... the ONLY reason we ever go their is as a treat for my daughter whom loves playing in the play place and enjoys the toy that she gets with her happy meal....P.s. fix the damn Wi-Fi it barely (if at all) works in the play place seating area it's the least you could do knowing many parents are in the same boat as me and would appreciate the ability to drown out the screams and such with the ability to watch a YouTube or Netflix video without blowing my whole data plan on a 30 - 60 min trip to McDonald's.
Fyi I find the location at Wellington/baseline to be much cleaner friendlier and overall better and they too have...
Read moreI don’t eat at McDonald’s but only when it was giving. In my experience, this location and the one on Highbury Avenue in London, Ontario just 100 metres away from John Paul II Catholic Secondary School is never a good one for me. How can you messed up and it is avoidable to have poor customer service? I went to this drive-thru and said “Sorry, we are closed for drive-thru service”, so my brothers and I went to Popeyes across the street since every business is closing at night time. Even the one at Highbury Avenue, their speakers don’t work, so we have to pulled over to the windows. Guy is not wearing his McDonald’s uniform but wears a grey Nike hoodie saying “Sorry about that, your food is free”, and the staffs at the payout said we have to pay and there were some missing items and miscommunication. Even this location, you need permission to use their restroom, but the McDonald’s across from Masonville Mall you don’t need permission and just allow anyone to use their restrooms. You need to feel like a special VIP at this location to use the restroom. That Masonville location is okay, but the drive-thru is so narrow there. The best ones in London, Ontario is the one by Masonville and the one at Hyde Park near Saint André Bessette Catholic Secondary School. For whoever is running this franchise. Every location, every taste and every product has to be the same. The service has to be good in order to achieve a successful business. Their food is so expensive after the subtotal and it is all processed low grade with all of these unknown ingredients what I am putting into my system. Over $30 for this, that could got me a better hamburger at Jack Astor’s and it is under $30. Even Mary Brown’s has specials the one across the street and taste way better plus it is cheaper including it is a Canadian brand. Never had a bad taste from Mary Brown’s. I will never buy anything from McDonald’s, and I prefer Starbucks coffee more than theirs. Avoid at all cost if you are going to this location or the Highbury Avenue location. If you cannot handle being in a fast paced industry then you should go home and find a suitable job for you in a career path. I knew people who went here has bad experiences. It needs to be a lot more cleaner working in a restaurant business. Staffs should wash their hands and also know...
Read moreThe McDonald's location with an indoor play area for kids is a convenient spot for families looking to enjoy a meal while their children play. The indoor play area is a definite highlight, providing a fun and safe environment for kids to burn off energy.
However, this location could greatly benefit from a renovation and a furniture upgrade. The food is consistent with the standard McDonald's menu, so you know what to expect in terms of taste and variety. But the overall dining experience is marred by the condition of the seating and cleanliness.
The chairs and tables seem to be quite old and often feel sticky when you sit down. It's unclear whether this stickiness is due to the cleaning solutions used or just residue buildup, but either way, it suggests that better cleaning strategies are needed. On several visits, I noticed visible grime on the furniture, which makes the environment feel less hygienic.
Additionally, there are several signs of required maintenance. The flooring in some areas is worn out, and there are noticeable scuffs and scratches on the walls and furniture. The overall appearance of the dining area feels dated and in need of a refresh.
Despite these issues, the staff is generally friendly and efficient, which is a positive aspect of this location. However, an investment in updating the furniture and ensuring a deeper, more effective cleaning regimen would significantly improve the overall experience for customers. A well-maintained and clean environment would make this McDonald's a much more pleasant place to dine, especially for families with...
