I seriously thought I would die before experiencing authentic Mexican street tacos. Nomada Tacos has divested me of that notion.. I ordered salsa and chips, 4 tacos ;Carne asada, braised pork, hamburger and Papas( potato. tasted like a Mexican perogi) They came with cubed limes to finish the tacos off at table as well as hot sauce. The white corn tortillas held up ( unlike yellow corn tortillas disintegrating when moist). Eating each one was a trip to flavor town, and they each had unique topping combinations that absolutely worked... be warned.. get many serviettes, as juicy tacos are juicy! My colleague got the plato grande ( 2 tacos with rice and beans.. he was gobsmacked!! The freshly squeezed watermelon juice had a hint of sweetness but you can tell it's not from concentrate. The salsa that came with chips was out-of this world fresh...The service was warm and inviting. The owner and staff were very nice and the scent as you walk into the place was heaven.. I recommend eating there outside on a hot day on the green picnic tables under a parasol. 4 racos were too much for this guy.. had to take 1 home.. but i will go again.. I recommend for first visit 2 Carne tacos, chops and salsa, and a fresh squeezed watermelon. Worth every penny!! I HAVE to go back to try their Elotes!!! 😀

Best Tacos ever. Better than what I had in Cancun ❤️

This may very well be the best taco place in the world - and that’s not hyperbole - it is so good it had me running through not only the best tacos I’ve ever had, but the best food experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve been to all of Rick Bayless’ places in Chicago, I go to Big Star any time I have a 2+ hour layover at ORD, I’ve sought out the best Mexican food in the American Southwest through Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah, I’ve eaten exceptional food from high and low brow places across Mexico City and Oaxaca. Nomada stands up to any of them. It’s such a fantastic little place, with incredible food, an in house hot sauce that’s worth the trip by itself, and an adventurousness that could only happen in a place that doesn’t take itself *too* seriously - I’d never even considered the idea of a scallop taco, but it was perhaps the most delicious concoction I’ve ever had the pleasure to eat.

This is hands down the best taco place, I, my girlfriend, and my friends all from Toronto originally, have ever been to.

The food is excellent, tastiest tacos I have ever had. The prices are extremely reasonable, with the portions on the larger side. The service is better than most restaurants in the GTA, possibly the best I have experienced as well.

2 tacos is more than enough to fill for a good meal, 3 and you'll be stuffed. As soon as you're thinking you might possibly need more water, drinks, w/e soon, without fail, the server shows up to top you up or ask. They have the timing down to a science, I was and have been seriously impressed every time I return.

The servers are polite and friendly, the outdoor patio is nice compared to what else is in the area, the indoor atmosphere is cute and run, if a little hot during the summer - though they mentioned new AC was being installed so that may no longer be the case.

Their house made hotsauce, available at every table complimentary during your meal is phenomenal. The flavour is very good, and the heat always gets the the point where it would be about to hurt your mouth and then it stops just shy of it. My girlfriend who can't handle spice loves it as well, and it's available for take home purchase for about 12 dollars.

All in all, if it wasn't clear from all I have written, I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Whether you're from the area, out of the area and visiting, or even not near by at all, it's seriously worth the trip. You will not regret it.

The chips and guacamole are excellent too, and we received free top-ups of both throughout our meal on multiple occasions. The beef they use tastes so much better than any I have had in Tacos. The seasoning and quality...
