Amazing Food! Excellent taste. Huge portions to make the tummy fullllll. Smoothies are tasty and flavorful. Decent amount of options to choose from. Variety comes along it. My best dish to pick is their Gourmet omelette, one plate is crazy filling with real great taste. The hot drinks are okish with the amount of money the quantity comes in a very tiny cup hardly 4 sips and you are done ( Latte, Cappuccino etc). This place is mostly busy the rush hour is 11-1.30 most busy and you will definitely have to wait in light a bit,but it's acceptable. Washrooms are well kept and clean. My server for 10 Aug was McKenzie really sweet lady, attentive, friendly and quick communicates well.
Now we come to a slightly bad part. My first visit was on Aug 3, and I was with my friends we were on time 11.15 it was busy yes ,but the main concern I had was with the service - Server Kylie or Ashley it's one of those names that works there and it was just horrible. She was so negligent of our table. No water served to us, and when asked she just got me my glass ignored my other 2 friends to even ask would they like some water. Did not ask if we have concerns or questions about the menu did not tell us any info on how much the platter size is , anyways When we ordered we also ordered sweet along ( Waffles, Crepes ) And specified it to her once our omelettes are done only then bring those dishes out so they are fresh No she simply stamps them on the table while we were just half way of our savory items. The bottle of ketchup she gave us on side was empty no ketchup in it Other guy asked for cutlery she just didn't listen to it. Her attention on other tables was 100% but not on our table. My friend tried calling her by a wave ignored. He himself got up got the new cutlery. No maple syrup was offered along our sweet dishes as mentioned. Plates were not cleared from the first meal but instead they remained there and our sweet plates got cold, and had to be eaten the way they became. No feedback taken Not a single time we were asked how was everything the food the service Nothing simply ignored. So for next time if that's the case with same person I think it shall be looked into by the management.
My overall experience with food has been good for the 2 times.
Will recommend to definitely try it out and enjoy that hour or so with...
Read morePur & Simple is a breakfast spot that truly lives up to its name with its delicious, hearty fare. The food here is nothing short of amazing, and it’s clear that they take great pride in their offerings. The omelets are superb—fluffy, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients. The smoothies are even better, bursting with vibrant flavors and perfectly blended to start your day off right.
The restaurant experiences a rush from 10 AM to 12 PM, so if you prefer a more relaxed dining experience, arriving after this peak time is ideal. Pur & Simple operates on a walk-in basis, as they do not accept reservations, which adds to the casual charm of the place.
However, I must mention a significant concern regarding customer service during my recent visit. While the food quality remains exceptional, the service fell short of expectations. Ashley, our server, was less attentive than one would hope. She neglected to clear our dirty dishes, and did not check in with us throughout the meal. Additionally, she failed to inform us about the portion sizes of our dishes, which would have been helpful given we ordered four main courses.
In contrast, I have had excellent service in the past from McKenzie, who demonstrated a high level of professionalism and attentiveness. It’s clear that the quality of service can greatly impact the overall dining experience. A restaurant with such fantastic food should also ensure that its staff is trained to provide excellent customer service. Even during busy times, it’s crucial for servers to maintain a friendly demeanor, check on customers regularly, and address their needs promptly.
Overall, Pur & Simple remains a great place to enjoy amazing breakfast dishes, but I hope that they will address these service issues to enhance the dining experience for...
Read moreFirst impression was decent, but looks can be deceiving. Not worth the premium pricing. In need of better ingredients and food quality control. My dish (huevos rancheros) was a major disappointment. I was served a rancid spoiled potato hidden within the fried potatoes. They taste like literal manure if you were wondering.
I'm a reasonable person, and bad stuff out of our control can happen. However, the staff didn't fully rise to the occasion to correct this mishap. They were prompt to say they would comp my spoiled breakfast, but I got more of a defensive response versus an apologetic one. They explained that the potatoes come pre-packaged and that I wouldn't pay for my breakfast. I wasn't offered a replacement dish, wasn't offered a drink to get the abhorrent taste out of my mouth, or simply, I wasn't asked how they can make this right. I understand it's an embarrassing scenario but no real apology was given – the excuses and lack of empathy or curiosity on how I would like it resolved was dismissive.
Emphasis on pretty plating, but the ingredients and components of dishes aren't freshly prepped in-house, so expect the use of bagged guacamole, grocery store breads, pre-diced tomatoes, and pre-processed potatoes with questionable...
