Pita Pit - Empire Court — Restaurant in Ontario

I rarely write complaints as usually i just move on and get over it but this really made me angry. On a budget during a pandemic I thought I would treat myself my favourite meal. Pita from the Pita Pit. I've never come to this location as I'm usually in Napanee, and I will never return. The customer service was atrocious, the person was rude, obviously with everybody wearing masks it's hard to understand people yet he decided to yell at me to speak up. My Pita was burned on the bottom to the point where it was black and rock hard. My salad had no dressing on it. It was dry as dry can be. It was supposed to be a chicken Caesar  Pita. Every Pita Pit Ive gone to has been a great experience but this one in particular is truly beyond amazing to their customers! My husband and I stopped in after a long grocery haul with our 4 year old son. My son asked for a chocolate milk and the man working without skipping a beat said of course you can on the house! My son was all smiles and I couldn't believe how sweet and nice the man was. When we were making our pitas he asked if it would be ok to give my son a cookie. Again my son was all smiles and jumped up and down so excited.

I have no issues with the staff or service, but the prices are insane and every time I stop in here, it's somehow more every time even though I always get the same thing. Before covid, it was about $10-$11. Six months ago, $13, and now up to $15! My order is a SMALL chicken cesar wrap, which is only marginally bigger than a can of pop. I've decided enough is enough, I'm not paying that much for such a tiny lunch. If I get it as a salad (which is the same price) I have to tell whoever is making it that a tiny handful of lettuce is not enough food for anyone in a $15 salad, and have to tell them every single time to add more lettuce.
