Pita Pit — Restaurant in Ontario

They got the order wrong. Apparently, they did not have gluten-free in the larger size as ordered. Rather than calling to tell me, they made the smaller size. When I picked it up, they did not tell me. When I got it to the family, we found they had made two of three smaller even though one was a normal pita.

I called and requested the order be remade without the gluten-free option. This was repeated three times during the call to the staff, who repeatedly asked what I would like done to resolve.

I drove back, and in the way, the owner phoned to ask what my problem was. I repeated the issue of the wrong size, and he spoke to the staff in front of me on my phone. They were told to remake the order. When they hung up, they asked what I would like to order. I repeated that I wanted the order remade.

It took them several minutes to begin making the order. Eventually, it was made correctly. They also gave us the two small ones rather than throwing them out.

While the final resolution is ok, the need to repeat a request that many times is why only one star for staff. We also were not refunded the extra charge for gluten-free.

Absolutely horrible service. Placed my order, had to use the washroom while I knew my chicken & bacon had to be cooked. Came back shortly after and stood beside the customer who was ahead of me and watched as 7 people who arrived after me got their orders made. The guy who took my order saw I was still waiting, asked what what I wanted on it which confused me because I ordered a chicken caeser pita, should have been self explanatory but I guess not as I don't go to Pita Pit and didn't know that I have to actually pick what ingredients I want on my pita. He was ignorant with me when asking if I wanted items on it and replied in a rude tone "okayyy". Then made a snarky comment to his staff that it needed to get done "because someone got out of line". The guy (glasses, dark hair and goatee) who took my order was ignorant with me and to his staff as well while they were working. The staff looked very uncomfortable to be working there. I will never go back and told several others about my experience there. Apparently he needs to learn customer service 101, etiquette and patience again because he severely...

I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience deserves it. My girlfriend and I ate here on Friday and the person who served us completely elevated the entire visit. He wasn’t just friendly, he was genuinely passionate about making the BEST pita possible. You could see it in the way he helped us pick what to eat, how he explained the options, and the humor and positive energy he brought to the whole interaction.

It’s rare to meet someone in food service who makes you feel like you’re not just a customer, but a guest. He takes pride in what he does, and that pride shows up in the food, which was hands down the best Pita Pit meal I’ve had.

This guy isn’t just an employee; he’s the reason people come back. Pita Pit is lucky to have him, because he turned a quick meal into a highlight of our day. 👏
