If zero stars was an option, I would have preferred to rate them a flat 0. I just had my graduation ceremony and met my family after a year. I was excited to show them around Kingston but it was late and I had very limited places open to eat at. So we decided to eat at DQ and I regret it so much. Aarghhhhhh! I wanted my day to end a good one but they ruined it so much. I and my family ordered baskets of chicken strips and the person taking my order just couldn’t understand anything. Firstly, I showed her a deal on my app for onion rings and I said if I can use the deal I want the rings. She told me the deal cannot be applied since the order is in person but added onion rings anyways. I did not know she did that. Secondly, I placed an order for moolatté because I saw another deal on the app. I ordered a cappuccino and a mocha but I changed the cappuccino to a vanilla. The person making this himself asked me at the counter about the change and he said he will get it right away. And voila! He got me cappuccino and mocha. I am like, if you had to not make the change, why even come to the counter to confirm with me? Thirdly, we placed an order for chicken strip baskets each and the person on the till conveniently added extra drinks to our orders which we realised and wanted to be taken off our bill. The fourth was when there were atleast 3 people trying to refund the drinks and needed an approval from the manager, the manager took over 10 minutes to come and get it done. Her name I believe was Diana and Diana was just ignoring all these team members calling her for the refund approval. Lastly, the entire process took over 30 minutes where I and my family were waiting like idiots for our food.
Guys, even I work at a fast paced business but this is no way to run a franchise for a brand like DQ. I have no words to express about the kind of manager this branch has and also how undertrained the team is. Extremely...
Read moreThis location has gone downhill in the past few months. The last two times I've gone I've had issues and the management doesn't care to hear about it. Even the managers have no idea how to do their job here. The workers in the back under this newer management kept just giving me dirty looks both times, which is really uncomfortable. The most recent time I've been, the deals on the app didn't work and the burgers I ordered were cold after explaining to the manager 3 or 4 times the kind of burgers we wanted. Once we ordered the blizzards , we were waiting around 10-15 minutes wondering where the hell the blizzards were. And they gave us some stupid excuse cuz apparently they just put them in the freezer instead of giving them to us once they were made... but they were melted anyway and they ofc didnt flip the cups to show they were cold at all. So as soon as I left with the blizzard I had a disgusting soup blizzard in a cup. It took sooo long for the cashiers and the manager to put in my discount after trying to convince me to pay full price anyway... the previous time I went I got a cotton candy blizzard and it was DISGUSTING. They were out of the salted caramel truffle blizzard everytime Ive tried to order it even though it was still on the menu and app, so I got cotton candy instead, not thinking it would just be vanilla ice cream w a pile of gross sprinkle candy all concentrated in the bottom of the cup. I added cheesecake bites in it, which are no longer cheesecake bites, they're cheesecake dust which just turns to gross mush in the blizzard. Read moreAug 22,2023 my husband & I visited this location to use our "thank you" Blizzard deal. We ordered inside. I was served 1st, asking for a mini carmel Fudge cheesecake Blizzard. Clerk, started by saying I could not get this as they were out of chocolate. I questioned that meant no carmel Fudge? She asked another Clerk who said no I could get this. Hmm, anyway I used my app, which would not let me scan instead gave me a code the Clerk put into her system. This meant I missed my pts as the app was never scanned. Which I never noticed till after we left. My husband was told he couldn't have a chocolate type Blizzard , so had strawberry, banana small. His app worked fine and received his pts. We ate outside and by time I was over half my mini, noticed no cheesecake...hmm chocolate Fudge & ice-cream only. I went in to assume Clerk. She listened to my question, took my mini cup with 1/4 ice-cream left went to the back. She returned with a full cup of cheesecake chunks. I was shocked, she smiled as to say there...they forgot I'm guessing. The resturant was not that busy either. I was not seeking anything except to know the cheesecake was left off my order.
