My recent culinary journey led me to Plaza Sushi Masonville, a veritable paradise for sushi lovers. This dining experience was nothing short of exceptional, leaving a lasting impression on both my palate and my heart.
Upon setting foot in the restaurant, I was greeted by a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary aesthetics. The warm and welcoming ambiance made for a truly comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.
My gastronomic voyage began with the Salmon Lover Salad. The freshness of the salmon, paired with crisp, vibrant greens, provided a refreshing and delightful start to the meal. The light dressing perfectly accentuated the natural flavors of the salad, setting the stage for the dishes to come.
Next, I was treated to the Salmon Lover Rolls and the Black Plaza Dragon Rolls. The salmon was succulent and packed with flavor, beautifully complemented by the expertly seasoned sushi rice and crisp seaweed wrap. The Black Plaza Dragon Rolls were a delightful surprise, with each bite revealing a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate.
The Shoyu Udon with Chashu Pork was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The udon noodles were perfectly cooked, creating a wonderful texture contrast with the rich, savory shoyu broth. The star of the dish, however, was the Chashu Pork. Cooked sous vide, the pork was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth with each bite.
The pièce de résistance of the meal was undoubtedly the warm sake. Smooth, subtly sweet, and warming, it was the perfect accompaniment to the sushi dishes, adding another layer of depth to the overall dining experience.
The service at Plaza Sushi Masonville was top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring each dish was served at just the right moment and at the perfect temperature.
In conclusion, Plaza Sushi Masonville offers an unparalleled dining experience that skillfully intertwines high-quality ingredients, expert culinary craftsmanship, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. For any sushi enthusiast, this restaurant is...
Read moreThe best sushi I have tasted in London yet, but the service was terrible.
First off, we were requested to move from our first table right in the middle of the restaurant which was fine for us at that moment, but then we regretted it since the waiter wasn’t noticing us when we needed the second beer I ordered, and our miso soups and salads that were supposed to come together with our Supreme Maki set (same happening for the other tables around us back at the end of the restaurant, we saw a couple of hands rise try to get her attention). After 20 minutes of waiting, I had to find my way to her to get the salads, soups, and a box for the leftovers to pay the bill.
By the way, the Asahi super dry beer is good I just noticed it is not in the online PDF menu, there are more options available based on the online menu; however, there were just two Asian options on the restaurant menu.
I think I would be back for takeout instead of dine-in since the food...
Read moreThis was takeout. I ordered the crispy spicy salmon, the jacked tiger dragon, the spicy tuna dragon, and the unagi don. The don was good. The rest of the rolls were not. All of them were sweet, which isn’t a problem in itself, but I didn’t get any of the spice of the spicy salmon, for one. The worst insult was the spicy tuna dragon— I swear they used canned tuna as the topping. In disbelief, I checked the roll’s interior, but no tuna. What place calls itself a sushi restaurant when they do...
