Prince Edward Pizza is THE BEST pizza we've had!! We live in Toronto, so when we go to our cottage we go to Picton since we HAVE to get their pizza (and poutine too!) It's the kind of pizza I had as a child, from a mom & pop pizza place. The sauce is so yummy, and they never skimp on cheese or toppings (the pizza will be VERY heavy lol) And, you get a free 2L bottle of pop with a large! It's not the cheapest pizza around, but it's the best. And worth the extra money. Read moreWe really enjoyed the pizza. They used lots of cheese and we didn’t even ask for extra cheese which is awesome in my opinion. The portion of the mushroom caps is good and they tasted good too. The pizza comes with a 2L bottle of pop. The reason we didn’t give 5 stars is because the only person wearing a mask was the cashier which during a pandemic everyone in an establishment is suppose to be wearing a mask. There were too many people not wearing a mask for it to just be a person with a health condition who can’t wear a mask. We are full now and the food was delicious so thank you. We would order again. Read moreIt’s exactly what it says on the tin—a pizza joint—but in the time I was there waiting, I could tell it had the stamp of approval from the locals (we’re here on vacation) and that’s always a good sign. When I got back to where we were staying and had my first piece? Yow. That’s a great freaking pizza—just enough crust (not too thick), generous with the topics, and tasty as heck.
The two women working there at the time were fun and funny—blasting some solid tunes and laughing and chatty—and while the debit machine was down, there was an ATM nearby so no big deal.
